Great design, easy to assemble
I could have made my sled guides myself (and I still need to try this on my next sled) but these were at a fair price and I like how they can be adjusted to make the jig extremely square, snug and make your cuts very accurate and repeatable. Assembly instructions are pretty good and easy to follow. Prepping the rails themselves was easy, but building the crosscut sled was a bit more challenging. I manually measured for the 4” on center holes and drilled the 1/4” thru hole and then the 1/2” recess for the mounting screws, but two of the holes were ever so slightly off center by less than a 1/32” and, the jig is so snug by design, that it doesn’t leave much room for error on drilling the holes. In hindsight, I’d probably clamp the rails to the sled and use an awl to mark the holes so they are more precise. Live and learn! Anyway, I was able to make the two offending holes a bit more oblong and I was in business! These rails are very nice quality and easy to assemble as part of your jig or sled. I’m sure I’ll buy more when the time comes, as well as learning how to make some of my own! It’s a great product!

I really like these slides
These are really great. Definitely watch a video about the setup. They really help. I bought two packs of these because I needed to make a 36" crosscut sled. I already have a 24" with an 18" steel bar runner. I looked for a longer runner, but nobody seems to make them. So I bought these, a little skeptical, particularly about the third runner entering the miter slot okay. The first two will start in the slot, but by the time the cut is finished, the first runner will be out of the slot and the third will have to enter. After I got it all set up, they work perfectly. No slop at all, and the runners don't even catch the least bit as they go in and out of the slot. Since I used 15/16" MDF for my sled, I bought 1" knob screws from the hardware store along with fender washers. Then I countersunk 1" holes for the washers. It's much better than the screws and washers that come with the slides. I used three for the main sled, and the fourth one I used to make a zero clearance stationary sled for the right side of the blade. Like others have said, the slides are very well conceived and made. Some complain that they are expensive, but for the quality that these are, the price is just about right. We'll see how they hold up, but I think as long as don't abuse them, they should last a long time.

So this is a great product and would add value to my cheap tools
I would have given this a "5" except it didn't fit my table saw. In fact, it didn't fit anything in my shop with the name RYOBI on it. Nor did it fit anything I have from HARBOR FREIGHT! It's just a hair too wide. Which is what I get for buying cheap tools. But when you live on an allowance provided by your Uncle, and never increases more a few cents a month no matter what inflation is doing, you tend to keep costs as low as possible. So this is a great product and would add value to my cheap tools, if it were just an RCH narrower.

zeroplay means zero play
The only complaint I have is they are expensive. They do perform better then I expected and zeroplay means zero play in this case. If I hit the lotto I would buy them again and I recommend them for the person that wants the more perfect cut on a table saw. I have not used them on any other shop equipment / tools. Arrived on time, packaged well, easy to install and adjust.

Amizing product - cant believe i went this long without
this is my second set. I build oversized, heavy furniture and I am constantly upgrading my table saw slide/sled. As an Engineer I am very OCD that my 90 deg angles... have to be 90 degrees.. not 88.. .not 92... but 90 +/- 0.5. I used to make my one bars our of hardwood but couldn't really get a nice fit. They would work fine the first few times but then wear out and there was a slightly little play to each side which I was fixing with tape to increase the width by mils. \ these ZEROPLAY are amazing. follow the instructions. use a nickel and a thickness gauge and you don't have to worry. my sled is 4ft long x 2.5ft wide. and I used specialty extruded aluminum as the fence with a wooden backup at the saw cut line. Highly recommend these miters bars. 22JUN17 UPDATE I STILL LOVE THESE... I NEED ZEROPLAY TO BUILD LONGER ONES THOUGH - JUST TO FIT MY NEEDS! :)

Great for First Timers, but not easy
I used these to build my first crosscut sled. They're great and work pretty well. However, I found to process to be extremely tedious. The short screws that they provide for mounting the bars to the sled base assembly, are just that ... very short. I had to make a couple drill depths with my forstner bits before I finally found the right depth that let me connect everything together. For the price, I'm going to use hard wood runners in the future.

Some Skills Necessary
Setup in your mitre slot is extremely easy. You’ll be in business in 90 seconds. Building a sled is far more time consuming but not impossible if you take your time and have some basic woodworking skills. The included directions give you basic plans for a sled but using your imagination, the possibilities are endless. Having a drill press and the necessary forstner bits are almost a must for building a sled which I didn’t foresee when I purchased these. Just another reason to buy more tools to the wife’s dismay. For my sled, I used 3/4” cabinet plywood and glued on a 3mil PVC sheet which makes gliding on the table surface smooth as butter. I bought an extra handle for my GRR-Ripper and used that for extra control. I painted the finished product and plan on adding a plexiglass guard to protect against any possible kick backs. Overall, a great and well thought out product and definitely recommend.

Excellent Design and Engineering
These miter bars are perfect. I usually make my miter bars for jigs out of hard wood. But wood is prone to movement and often will swell and make the jig's operation hard. These are very well designed and do the job quite well. I think they're a bit pricey on one hand. On the other, they perform exactly as they supposed to so the cost is sufferable.

I MIGLIORI IN ASSOLUTO

Looks great and would suit a standard mitre slot
Looks great and would suit a standard mitre slot. Just wanted to make a quick review to let anyone know that it doesn't fit the slot on my Scheppach HS100S-P1. The slot is way too small.

Helps make projects easy
Worked as advertised. Very easy and quick to get the crosscut sled complete. Saved time in cutting runners and they fit perfect.
