I bought it to keep monitoring the room temperature and the humidity. Especially in these coming three summer months to let you know and control fans & A/C's distributions around the house. I like it and I feel it's more accurate than the digital ones.

Quite big chunky plastic
So far seems to function. At least it does not require wasteful batteries. But depending on what you are looking for, it is quite chunky. Since it is made of mostly plastic, it does not have the old-fashioned sturdy look. If you are looking for a classical mercury thermometer, this is not likely a model to choose. It would be nicer to find a simple, flat, metal model that would feel genuine and reliable.
