Perfect, exactly like the pictures

This was a great father/daughter project! I worked on this with my 5-year-old, who obviously couldn't have finished it on her own, but this is a very well-made model with nice, clear instructions and lots of things for a younger child to do! For instance, the various dowels are called for by length, so she got to sort all of the dowels and check the lengths when we used them. And the overall assembly, while it needed some direction from me, was great because the gluing and assembly were very straightforward. I'd definitely recommend this kit for a fun parent/child project!

I have completed alot of these this is the first one that I have not it was broken maybe my fault but have been able to complete these kits before with no problem not this one. $39.00 in the trash.

2 hrs is a joke. That’s how long it takes you to fix your mistakes. The instructions are fine AND very detailed. You miss one clue and you’ll spend an hour trying to fix it. Con: they don’t give you extra pieces. If you mess up you will have to fabricate a new piece. I am a very experienced model builder with and without instructions. This is definitely not a 9 year old model. On the bright side if you get it all together correctly it does have a certain beauty to it using multiple da Vinci designs.

Cool model but you have to read the instructions and study the diagram carefully

This is a gift I got for my dad so we could put it together. It was great fun and came with everything that was needed. Once we had it together, it worked very well and was a cool gadget for his office desk. Was a great buy and gave us something fun to do together. The quality was good too. ^.^

Granted, the directions leave a bit to be desired, but add a bit of commonsense and construction is a breeze. Parts fit, product quality is good, and it goes together very well. A bit of sanding edges will give you a great finished model. More important is that it works. Let the glue dry, don't rush and I'm sure you will be pleased with the result.

I love these things it's a great weekend build I would recommend gluing everything The wheel gears won't work if you don't do the glider plane to the base otherwise glue everything that doesn't move except the moving joints and assemble the wings before you mount them on the glider makes it a lot easier to do the rigging with the rope use a good sturdy clip to keep the ropes stretched tight while the glue dries and make sure you let the gear pegs on the round wheels glue set overnight have fun but be glue patient
