Not for metal!
Im sure i wasn't using it right. i used it to clear coat my airbrush projects but it was all water based paint and i was spraying metal. it was my first time so for metal...2 STARS. seems like it would be perfect for canvas.

i added three coats but really couldn't tell much difference ...
i added three coats but really couldn't tell much difference and even after letting dry over night the colors still bled together when doing flames. ended up just buying a spray can of gloss top coat much easier.
