Good
Great for what we needed! After 15+ days of rain and flooding, we needed something to help dry out a specific flood zone in our backyard. We used the WaterBUG to redirect the standing water out toward the front yard, and it made a huge difference in about an hour

This thing sucks!!! (In a good way)
Our basement and crawlspace started to flood due to a very quick snow melt recently. I tried three different submersible pumps that barely worked on low water on floors. Then I decided to give this one a try and it’s absolutely amazing. Not only did it suck up water faster than any other pump that I have tried, it also works really well in low water situations. I highly recommend this pump for anybody who is dealing with any sort of flooding.

Excellent Product
This is a great little pump at a good price that does exactly what is described. I bought it to deal with an emergency flooding situation in my basement, and it does drain very effectively down to about a centimetre, but I ended up using it frequently to drain water from on top of my swimming pool cover. Note that in this scenario once it is started, you can unplug and allow to siphon instead. Nice long three prong cord, very solid case, with supports to wrap the cord around for easy storage. This is a portable temporary use drainage pump and so you don't need a switch. Best feature is being able to use an ordinary garden hose and it pumps quickly and quietly over at least a 3 metre height. Very pleased to be able to buy this Wayne product through Amazon. Only suggestion I would make is a hook or loop on top to be able to pick up as you should not lift with the cord. April 2020 update - just used it effectively to pick up water directly from puddles on the lawn after heavy rain and snow melt - works like a charm!

Clutch performer in a crisis
I've owned this pump for 7 years for various shop and basement floods, so after using it again today it's time to give it the props it deserves. - Pumps water in a HURRY - Pumps down to 1/16 inch so when you have a lot of shallow water over a big area reduces the amount of times you have to move it - Double hose connections are handy - Nice long power cord Note that early on it had trouble getting started after a use or two. You can take the bottom apart and pull out crud, I had some fur get in there, and it's worked great since. I use this maybe once a year for when I have some crisis, I can't say much to whether it would hold up to something like daily use, but nothing about it seems fragile or cheap.
