What a miracle product. I have been struggling for almost a year with curtain hooks that kept getting snagged on the joint where the rods meet. I am blown away by how simple this was to install, as well as how well it works. My curtains now glide with ease! 5 stars!

The amount of frustration this product is going to save me is incredible. Opening and closing my curtains was legitimately infuriating until now. And now they just glide across! So easily! And so quietly! After finishing my first curtain rod this morning I’ve already ordered another 48’ of this stuff to apply to every other curtain rod in my house. The tape was simple to install and the instructions on the package were clear and helpful. I got it applied to an 11’ long curtain rod in under ten minutes. It’s thick enough to provide plenty of buffer between the curtain ring and the rod, and the adhesive is strong. It feels sturdy enough to withstand plenty of use. The fit is just right for my 1” diameter curtain rod. It doesn’t look ugly or obvious on my ceiling-height curtain rods. If you didn’t know it was there, you’d never notice it. I wish I had known about this product so much sooner!

I did not expect this to work, and when I opened the package any hope I had for success plummeted. The tape was unassuming, and somehow thinner/less wide/smaller than I expected (I don't know why that's important, but it seems worth mentioning). I opted to follow through with it, though, and I am so glad I did. I've wasted YEARS of my life, had fits of rage, broken curtain rings (yes, the frustration was that bad sometimes), climbed up and down stepladders to re-clip/re-hang material I've yanked and tugged after losing my cool. This tape changed all that. My rings glide across the bumpiest, lumpiest, most unevenly joined giant curtain rod in the history of curtain rods (seriously, it's little more than a 12 foot long gnarled, carved piece of wood, joined haphazardly to another gnarled, carved piece of wood...but I love the aesthetic enough to tolerate the problems that go with all that uneven wood). My wooden curtain rings GLIDE across my wooden rod. It's so smooth and easy...and unexpectedly QUIET too. No more yanking. No more tugging. I can open and close my heavy curtains with one hand and minimal effort! I highly recommend this. Application was easy, and the product works exactly as described.

I have heavy blackout curtains and hardware from pottery barn and I hate that it was quite difficult to open and close the curtains. This perfectly solved the problem and it was very easy to install. I hope it will last a while.

This tape is Amazing! Not only do the rings slide across the rod effortlessly, but they reduce the noise when sliding the curtains open and close! Great product!

Something so simple but so effective. My daughter was having trouble pulling the curtain over the rod, but with a simple product like this, its not longer a problem. Easy to install, its just tape. For the price, I would have like to see it lower for such a simple product.

What a huge difference this made with pulling my draperies shut. I bought draperies from Amazon that came with curtain rings. The rings were sticking to the rod, and it was not an easy task to pull them shut. If you’re having troubles with your drapes, buy and apply this easy, self stick, thick plastic glide tape, and you’ll be a happy camper! I certainly am! My draperies now glide like butter.I even applied it to my shower rod so my shower curtain glides easily.

I put these on 3 different curtain rods and the curtains now slide back and forth like butter. I wish I had purchased earlier as opening and closing the curtains were driving me crazy when they would stick at the connection point on each of the rods. It is also smoother at every ooont on the rod. Highly recommend.

Did I overpay since this is essentially sticky plastic? Yes. Is it also the best nonessential item I’ve ever bought? Absolutely. My partner and I love this thing. My curtains glide like butter. It’s insanely satisfying. I want to buy one for every curtain in the house.

This stuff is great, we have a bar in our shower and there’s a lip that the rings kept getting caught on. I thought either try this or get a new bar. This works amazing, it’s held strong even in the humidity of the bathroom.

I have an adjustable curtain rod and my heavy insulated drapes would be difficult to open and shut. They kept getting stuck on the adjustable part of the rod. Once I attached the strip they glide very easily.
