Hi I would like to connect hue gradient light strip to my pioneer amp will it work, instead buying the hue sync box ?

You need to attach it to the Hue Bridge first, if you want it to sync with your tv then you will need the sync box

Do i need to get hdmi sync box? , i have philips hue bridge in want for my pc setup

not sure how it would connect to a pc setup as you need a source to go through the sync box Example my Apple TV connects to the sync box passes through to my TV The sync box needs an external source ant won’t work with content direct on the tv if that makes sense So I’m assuming a pc wouldn’t work either but I could be wrong worth checking before you buy 👍🏼

Does it works with a smart tv Netflix app?

No. It only works with an external source that you connect to the TV via HDMI. Inbuilt smart TV apps do not sync. But if you watch nextflix via a smart box / Apple TV / PlayStation etc it will work

Can it be cut to a specific length?

No it's not like the strip lights it's an enclosed strip
