## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does anyone use this sheath with the ka-bar mark 1 (leather handle) and if so, how's the fit? thanks in advance for your help!**
A: Just ordered it (missed this question) and had to return because it doesn't fit my Mark 1. Since that's a 5.25" blade, and there IS a kydex sheath available (as replacement for the one that comes with the modernized rubber-handled Mark 1), the seller really ought to clarify. I ordered a KA2221S from Knife Center, which has a review clarifying that it will indeed work with Mark 1. So here's hoping that's right.

**Q: would this fit a 5 1/2 blade?**
A: No, it won't. I am using it with a short Ka-Bar . Blade is 5 1/4 inches long. I placed the blade against the outside of the sheath and I can't see you having another 1/4 inch to play with. Hope this helps?

**Q: Is this sheath molle compatible?**
A: Does not have its own mollie straps but I adapted it to my mollie belt by making some straps and using the sheath sideways.

**Q: Can the top strap be drilled out easily? I don't really need that top strap. The sheath hold and lower strap will do just fine. Thanks!**
A: Yep. It's a cheap rivet. I had to file the little wedges off above the sheath to get my buck 119 to fit too. Using mine for vertical strap mounting.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent knife sheath
*by H***R on 11 March 2025*

Excellent sheath for my super sharp hunting knife. Very tough and durable, and it should last the rest of my life. I could only use one of the fastening straps because I custom made my knife handle to fit my large hands, but one strap holds the knife secure. I'm sure both straps would fasten with a regular sized K-Bar knife handle. I've carried it on my belt quite a few times out in the field hunting, and it keeps me safe and my knife sharp.
