I am writing this in June of 2025, and I bought the case around 2022. I'm still using this exact same case, and I think it'll last me a couple more years. There are 2 small chips around the edge of the case from me dropping my phone all the time, but my phone has 0 damage.

Was hesitant buying an Otterbox case other than a Defender series (even being a lifelong Otterbox customer/advocate), but they seem to live up to the Otterbox name and protects my young daughters smartphone just as expected from the thicker "Defender" series cases. I always keep my devices, along with all my families, in Otterbox Defender series cases whether they like it or not, due to their reliable protection. But having the option to allow my kids and wife the ability to choose different colors and designs that they JUST HAVE TO HAVE, while still trusting the device protection offered by Otterbox makes things much easier when shopping for cases for my girls devices!

This one does not fit the motorola g7 play. I needed to return it. It is a great item if you have the right phone.

All the one star reviews are people who bought the wrong case. This is for the + model. Don't be mad if you can't read. Return it and move on. To clarify this is a good case. Better than any most other brands. My low rating is based on how this stacks up to other symmetry cases and other Otterboxes for the same phone. The symmetry series was initially a case built for comfort without sacrificing durability. Not as tough as the Defender series but infinitly less bulky and easier to hold. Problem is they went all in with the comfort this time and the durability suffered. The rubberized bit is plastic and the high density plastic is the hard material that would chip and crack. It does, however, fit like a glove and is very comfortable in the hand. I'm sure it could take a reasonable beating but I also have no doubt whatsoever that the same case for the s9 or s10 would take twice as much. If you are all about comfort and want a decent case this is for you. If you want more protection and something almost as nice to hold go for the commuter. Much nicer plastic, real rubberized interior, superior camera protection, and slightly raised edges to protect the screen.
