What about the California chemical cancer warning?

Most nail polish products have formaldehyde, known to cause cancer. You have to find one formaldehyde free if you want a safer product.

What are the ingredients?

Ingredients : Toluene, Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Tosylamide Formaldehyde Resin, Dibutyl Phthalate, Isopropyl Alcohol, N Butyl Alcohol, Formaldehyde, Camphor, Benzophenone 1, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5), Violet 2 (CI60725)

You use the primer to help fill in ridges and any uneven spots on your nails. Then follow with the top coat. I usually use two coats. I then coat my nails once with the top coat over the next 2 - 3 days. Then I take it off and start over again.

I am interested in buying this product based on all the great reviews, but I have to ask, does this product dry matte or shiny?

The ridge filling foundation dries on matte, the intensive therapy II foundation dries on shiny, and I think it looks nice as a glossy coat by itself, but it also works great if you put it on as a base coat, then use your usual color and then use the nail tek as top coat again.
