Suunto D6 and D6i Dive Computer Replacement Battery Kit

Does not reads Suunto as in the picture but includes a Sony Battery, gasket and silicone tube. Tech change it and pass the 5 Bar hydrostatic testing, that's enough for me. Suunto worked fine and already over 5 dives this week, Will keep buying.

This is not the correct O-ring for the Suunto D6i. It is slightly too large and gets pinched in the cover when cover is tightened. The 2450 battery is correct, but you can buy that at any hardware store. I had to use my old O-ring.

The O ring was over size

Battery and silicone worked great, but the O-ring was too large for my Suunto D6i and did not give a water-tight seal. So, I ended up putting the original O-ring back in which is not ideal.

The O ring is too big for Suunto D6i dive computer, that was the most important part of this order. I also order two batteries and O rings for the scuba tank's wireless transmitters and the seller charged me three separate shipping for every order but I received all orders in one small envelop that I paid $14.67 for shipping.

The kit came with all the necessary parts to replace your battery in your dive watch, as long as you have the proper screw driver bits. My watch takes a very small Phillips and my wife’s take a small torx bit T-5

The battery in my Suunto D6 that was inserted only a year ago by my local dive shop already went dead after 10 dives. I ordered this kit and figured I could replace the battery & o-ring myself. It was easy removing the back - only needed a tiny Phillips head screwdriver. Battery replacement was a breeze. The new o-ring, however, was slightly too big & kept getting pinched when I tried to replace the back. I wound up reusing the original o-ring, along with the supplied grease. I’ll be taking it diving in June but I feel confident it should work just fine.

Careful buying these kits. Used it on my D6i the o ring wasn’t snug enough and flooded my computer within 30 seconds of the first dive. Yes my fault for replacing the battery myself. Just be cautious doing it yourself.

As many others have commented the O-Ring that comes with this kit is not correct. It is much thinner than the original O-ring provided in the D6. I decided to reuse my old O-Ring as it provides a much better seal. I will not buy this kit again. Next time I will source the Battery and O-rings separately.
