If you press the MAX/MIN button once, it will display the greatest reading it measures. If the wind speed drops below the highest value measured to that point in time, the reading does not change. If the wind speed exceeds the value on the display the speed will change (increase). The MIN works in the same way. Except that it shows the lowest speed measured. So if you set it to MIN when the reading is zero, the reading will not change. Thanks for the question. I learned something about my meter. **Q: Is it easy to use? No time for a manual in a storm.** A: It is easy to use. Turn it on, make 2 settings, go outside and measure the wind. We can have 40 to 50 mph gusts with no storm. Set the speed unit of measure, press max/min and go. It will display the highest speed and hold it. **Q: How fast does it respond to slight changes in wind speed?** A: There is some inertia in the fan wheel. It take 3 to 5 seconds to make a major change. **Q: What is the accuracy of the altitude measurement?** A: altitude from 0-19685 Ft. Resolution: 0.2 mph, 0.2℉,0.1% RH. ## Frequently Bought Together - Anemometer Handheld, AP-007 Anemometers Wind Speed Meter for HVAC with Wind Speed, Temperature（℃/℉） and Backlit Air Flow Meter for Shooting, Surfing, HVAC Duct - Manometer, Professional Air Pressure Meter, Dual-Port HVAC Digital Manometer Gas Pressure Tester,12 Selectable Units Differential Pressure Gauge, (Included Battery) - EHDIS Manometer, Professional Air Pressure Meter, Dual-Port HVAC Digital Manometers Gas Pressure Tester Differential Gauge --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/270009831-anemometer-handheld-ap-007-anemometers-wind-speed-meter-for-hvac](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/270009831-anemometer-handheld-ap-007-anemometers-wind-speed-meter-for-hvac) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
