Great for the price
Wanted a voice activation solution outside having to come up with a Java solution in Android, but didn't have enough resources on ESP32C3 to handle voice recognition well. Settled on a "whistle trigger" (using Goertzel constants; frequencies matching whistling on a b-flat scale triggers current on different I/O pins) instead. This worked out reasonably well, though I was foiled again by ceiling fans. Struggled to get consistent readings; eventually realized I had a ceiling fan pointed directly at the microphone; things were fine after turning off the fan.

Works great! See review for pre-emphasis circuit mods
Sounds great, works well. I modified the circuit to provide a high-pass "pre-emphasis" for use with an AM transmitter. Circuit below

Analog
Good purchase for the price. Still working with it. This is an analog output device. If you want to learn about analog, this is a very good option. Things like Analog Digital Conversion, physical filtering, signal processing, etc., can be elusive for most of the devices you get in a sensor kit. However, this is the "stick shift" of input devices. The onus is back on you. Rather than the pre-digitized signals you might get elsewhere, you have to figure out what to do with that wavy signal. Have fun

Worked well with 3.3v logic
Solid little microphone without too much markup over direct-from-china shipping. I used them for capturing audio signal levels and the sensitivity and calibration have been good on each of the ones I've tested, but I can't speak to their frequency response.

Some components bad
Two were bad, but it was relatively inexpensive so i just ate the cost

Works exactly as described.
Had no issues getting these to work for my project. Have bought others and they wouldn't work. I've used 3 so far and not one problem.

Odd Output
On an oscilloscope compared to other mic/amp test boards (both MAX4466 and MAX9814), the output of this one is significantly different. Rather than the signal bounce above and below 0, all output travelled mostly in the negative. This didn't work for my LM9515 light bar display project, which would never show more than 4 LEDs on a 10 LED test board regardless of amplifier gain or LM9515 ref voltage adjustment.

Great little amp
I've used these in a few 3D printer projects and their easy to solder and incorporate into a program.
