Works great and very adjustable, a bargain for the price
I bought this stand because I thought it would be tall enough to stand on the floor and still hold the monitors above the desk, so I could move my monitors off of my desk. First, I'll say that the stand isn't really stable enough to hold my monitors (24" and 15 lbs each) without wanting to fall forward. But since I had the stand behind my desk, I was able to lean it against the back of the desk. It worked perfectly well when set up like that. If you don't like the idea of the stand leaning against your desk, though, see my "EXTRA" section below. Apart from the issue noted above, everything else about the stand works great, especially considering the price. It allows for adjustment in all directions (forward/back, left/right, tilt up/down, and rotate). I was able to position my monitors exactly how I wanted them, and I still have about 5" of clearance between the bottom of the monitors and the top of my desk, which opens up a lot of space that had been wasted by the monitor bases. I have many devices on my desk (USB hub, KVM switch, etc.) that would be taking up valuable desk space, but now I have them tucked underneath and behind the monitors. I hate clutter, and this solution lets me reduce the feeling of clutter on my desk. I'm very happy with the purchase. EXTRA: I have a glass-topped desk, so I was a little uneasy with the idea of the glass supporting the weight of the bar leaning forward. I bought a clamp used to hold a fishing rod on a boat, and instead used it to hold the bar to the frame supporting the glass. It worked perfectly. The part that would normally hold a fishing rod is exactly the same diameter as the vertical bar on the stand, and it has two C-clamps that I clamped to the desk frame (not the glass itself, but the metal frame that holds the glass). The whole setup is solid as a rock now - The vertical bar doesn't move, my glass is protected, and now I can adjust the monitors with one hand (previously, I had to hold the vertical bar with one hand while making any adjustments, but now the vertical bar is solidly fixed in place). Note that if I had a wooden or metal desk, I may have never considered clamping the vertical bar to the desk, because monitor adjustments are typically a one-time thing. But if I ever switch away from the glass-topped desk, I'm glad I have this solution already in hand.

Great mount!
My son has a small standard desk with a glass top. But he has all these peripherals he uses for gaming and the desktop is always a mess of stuff, with very little room. He got two new monitors (and their stands were even worse spacehogs) so i suggested he get this and the mounting shelf vivo sells, to help reclaim some space (my own office is setup with multiple vivo monitor mounts and they cant be beaten) He loves it all so much!!! And even got a clamping cup holder too. This stand is super sturdy. I was worried that two monitors would be iffy... but its really not. Hes got two 27" samsung odyssey monitors (8 lbs respectively) and it didnt even threaten to tilt. Hes got them low on the pole currently, so idk how it'd be if all the way at the top. I doubt he'll ever use it that high on his desk, but its nice that its an option should he want or need to.

great sturdy and tall stand. good purchase
I had this stand in the regular height version and used it for 4 years with no problem, but when I upgraded to 32 inch monitors that stand stalk was not long enough for me to raise the 32 inch monitor above the open laptop lid in the desk. So I purchased this taller version. I assembled the stand and put the mounting plate on the back of each monitor. It comes with allen wrenches and I think I used my philips screwdriver on the base. I found it easier to place the monitor with plate on the stand when the monitors were on the carpet, using a tape measure to determine how high up to place them. Then I attached the locking hex cap and swung the stand upright and onto my desk. After sitting down and some positioning I did take it back down once to lower by an inch. Technically this stand does max out at 27 inch monitor size but I was able to put two 32 inch ones up with just a little bevel overlap. Your positioning options are constrained but it works. The pivot bracket is a little jiggly when you are adjusting it but once in place it works well. Be sure to keep the weight centered left/right (it wonโt balance with just 1 monitor) and forward/backwards but Iโm quite satisfied with the result. Price was great and the overall build quality is solid. I like this better than a clamp on my desk. When I tilt the stand with my hand it does not want to fall. If your 2 monitors are different in terms of the mounting hole location you may not be able to make the top of the monitors even- this type of stand has both arms at the same height and the independent adjustment height is probably less than an inch. There were mounting screws in the package but my LG and Asus monitors already had screws in place. It also has spacers for curved monitors.

So far ok
Just assembled this today. Went together ok. One surprising thing is how far the arms stick out the back when you use it with smaller monitors. I have two 19" Dell widescreen monitors on it, to get the monitors side-by-side, the arms stick out almost 7 inches. That plus the mounts means that my monitors are about 10 inches from the wall. This means you can not put it back up against a wall as I planned. Looks like it will be better with larger monitors but if you plan on using this with smaller monitors beware.

Perfect for my needs
I needed a mount that didnโt have to be mounted to my desk and this one worked perfectly I did have to prop it up just to make it about 4 inches higher but overall itโs perfect and very sturdy great quality free standing mount

NOT Standing Desk
Does not adjust. This is not a standing desk. Unless you work only 2 hours a day or you can stand for 8. You'll be able to stand; you just won't be able to lower the height to let yourself sit. Standing desks also need to let you sit. I pulled this out of the box and cursed a bit when I realized I would need to use allen wrenches every time I wanted to adjust the height. Then I told myself I must be wrong. When I realized I wasn't, I went ahead setting it up anyways figuring there's no way this product can have 4 stars and be difficult to adjust. Surely the 2,000 reviewers sit a couple times each day. They must not. Adjusting the stand is a challenge. First, good luck using one hand to adjust the stand to the desired height while using your other hand to manipulate the allen wrench. Even better luck making 'micro' adjustments to the ideal height. Second, even modest weight monitors combined with the height and angling, make this a forearm/tricep work out. At least you can skip the gym. Third, you can't find where you need to use the allen wrench unless you move the entire stand out onto your desk (or can walk behind it - my monitors are placed against the wall so I cannot). Fourth, the base is insufficiently weighted for movement up/down. This, combined with the prior points, means the monitors will be falling forward. Hope you don't drop them. The one compliment I give VIVO is knowing the user will need to use allen wrenches so often they give you a little clip to attach them to your stand - see pic. Nice touch. VIVO should also put a person in the box who will hold the stand while you make your adjustments each time you want to sit/stand. Even if a second person came provided, it may be of no use. My coworker helped me make the adjustments the first two times and even with two grown men (one of whom is a mechanical engineer) it was an asinine process. Impractical movement of monitors... Just like adjusting the stand up and down is not practical, neither is movement of the arms (unless the stand is drilled to your desk rather than using the base). My monitors are well within the size/weight capacity advertised, but I have absolutely no doubt my monitors would come crashing down by a light bump or if the monitors were moved forward ever so slightly. That's because the whole stand fell forward a number of times when I moved the monitors but I was there to catch them. By the end of the day, I wanted this thing to fall forward one last time and hit me in the head. Two screws also severed in half - never seen that before. I am not one to write reviews, but this product is so bad, I felt compelled to save others the frustration and wasted time. It may be OK if you never plan to adjust it up/down AND you don't use the base but affix it to your desk. If you plan to sit down at times, then this stand is only good for breaking the window so you can jump out after this product drives you insane. And even then, it might not weigh enough to break the window.

Good Solution To My Need.
It was just high enough to put on the floor to clear the desk top if the arms are all the way at the top. This made it top heavy and if you adjusted the arms inward it would fall over. I also could not purchase one that mounted to the lip of a desk. The desk lip was too narrow and did not want to drill a hole in the desk. I bought this box off of Amazon due to time. I panted it and I added 30 pounds inside the box and mounted the base to the box. It is pretty sturdy and was a good solution to my need.

Sturdy, but pay attention to its center of gravity
I purchased this stand in October 2019, and wanted an opportunity to use it for a length of time before leaving a review. The product is described as a desk stand, but I use it a bit differently. I frequently utilize my laptop while seated on a couch, and I needed to figure out how to set up a 3 monitor workstation (2 monitors plus the monitor on the laptop), while seated on the couch. This product addressed my workstation requirement by being 40 inches in height, which was the height that I needed the monitors to be. I am using 24" monitors with this stand, and have mounted the arms for the monitor to be almost at the top of the pole, leaving 1" from the top. I placed the stand on the floor, and not on a table top as was intended. With the monitor-arms being mounted that high on the pole, I needed to find the proper articulation of the arms to bring the weight of the monitors towards the pole. While the arms could extend outward, doing so will cause the entire stand to tip forward, as there is no counterweight. The base of the stand is sturdy, but not heavy enough to counter the weight of the monitors. This wouldn't have been an issue is the monitor-arms are mounted lower on the pole. However, a lower mounting position wouldn't have given me my preferred height of the monitors relative to my eye-level. A longer base plate towards the front of the base would have helped counterbalance the weight. Overall, this stand is sturdy with an all-metal construction, with a good finish that has prevented any rust from developing. It has been in use for over two years, and it is not showing any signs of degradation. And with the price point being $50, this product provides excellent overall value.

Amazing Product!
I searched for a long for a dual monitor arm that would solve my particular issue. I have a small monitor-riser table that I use to elevate my laptop on first monitor and I needed a dual monitor stand that would allow me to set my monitors above my existing setup. This dual monitor stand is unbelievably sturdy and has a better range of motion than I expected. It also allows the monitors to be tilted into a vertical position if needed. I currently use this stand to elevate two 24โ monitors and it works flawlessly. The vertical pole holding the horizontal arm comes in 3 segments. I did not have to use the third segment to achieve my required height and the flexibility to keep the pole only as long as needed was very much appreciated.

Not stable
This mount does not have a strong counter balance. I have to put heavy books on the base so it doesn't tip forward. Maybe I have the monitors a bit ahead of the base but it's very very unstable. I would get something else in the future.

Works great with Imac 27" Apple computers
The stand worked great putting 2 24" inch BenQ monitors, above my 2 -27" Imacs, lots of room to spare, very easy to set up, and very durable. I have one Imac sitting on part of the base to keep it solid, ideally it would be more secure to drill a hole, or use the clamp. but overall, very easy and fast to set up. Would recommend to anyone.
