Bruder 02457 CAT Mini Excavator Vehicle Toys for unisex-children

Very sturdy toy and I'm actually quite happy with it. Looks like it'll stand up to my toddler! Having said that, you should carefully examine this upon delivery. The excavator arrived in its box but was unsecured. There are obvious holes in the cardboard for twist-ties that were empty. There wasn't any damage and everything works fine, except that the driver figurine was missing. It was a gift for my two year-old and nothing was discovered until after he opened it. Doesn't reach the level of returning as he's very happy with it (you try taking a new beloved toy from a toddler!) As I said, I'm happy with it, nothing was damaged, scratched, etc.

A lot of the toys you buy now are plastic and snap easily. So far, we have loved the excavator and it’s holding up well with my rough toddler boys. Do keep in mind the side mirror pops off and on. If you have little ones who put things in their mouth, I’d pop it off and keep it off

Great toy

This is a beautiful toy, but I would NOT recommend it for a kid that wants to do any sort of rugged play with it. We got it for our two and a half year old as a reward for getting out of diapers. The side mirror had a little plastic tie around it, and literally fell off when we took it out of the packaging, remaining attached to the toy only with the plastic tie. The bucket fell off within an hour of playing with it. We were able to reattach it, but i don't have hopes for how long the toy will last, sadly. All in all, I would recommend it for an older kid, but not for a young kid or for a kid that wants to do any real dirt work.

After waiting a week to receive this item, it finally came and my son was very excited. The toy was not secured in its original package during shipment and when I opened the box it had seemed to been bounced around during shipping. The box showed a worker included, but there was no worker with it. Less than 24 hours later during normal (not rough) play, the entire arm snapped off. This is a beautiful toy and my son instantly fell in love with it, so I attempted to super glue the broken joint in hopes it would be fine. But that didn’t work, so I will have to return the item and try to get a replacement. The manufacturer offers replacement parts on their website, which is great. I considered going that route so my son didn’t get upset when I had to return it. However, the replacement part needed is $15 plus shipping. This is a very nice looking toy and a great size that your little one is sure to love. I believe I may have received a defective one, will update after getting a replacement.

Got these for my toddler who is 3years old and crazy about construction vehicles---excavator in particular. He had a basic one that he was able to take apart and put it back together (another great toy) but now he wanted something that had hydraulics and suspensions like the real one (His Dad taught him all about that so....). THis is perfect. He loves it and his Dad loves it too. They spend a lot of time playing with it :) Its been 2 months and its held up in toddler hands so I would say it is durable....let see how long it lasts !!!
