I love these pencils and the price was great.

Who doesn't love mechanical pencils? Who doesn't love having a whole stash of them in case their kids lose them, they feel like they need a different color that day, they get stolen or they get lost? My kids were able to talk me into these, and I am hoping they will last a while. I'm not sure that they will, as I have seen them pulled down a few times now from where I try to keep them out of sight and out of mind so that they don't go through them too quickly! Of course they are great quality, attractive, and perfect for the kids for school and anyone else who appreciates a mechanical pencil!

Packaging: Came in a yellow bubble envelope. The packaging itself is just cheap plastic and cardboard but, for this type of product, the quality of packaging doesn't matter in the least bit. Quality: The quality of the pencil barrel is pretty cheap feeling but it's strong plastic. The sticks of graphite are of .09mm thickness and you'd have to be writing very hard to accidentally break them off. The eraser is of exceptional quality and is actually the main reason I buy BIC mechanical pencils. Also, with some brands of pencils, the graphite dispensing mechanism is weak and allows lead to slowly slide backwards back up it. With BIC, the mechanism is strong and this isn't a problem. Value: According to the packaging, each pencil is the equivalent of 2.5 regular wooden pencils. That means this package of 24 pencils is the equivalent of 60 wooden pencils. That is a lot of writing potential for only about $6. I'd say the exceptional eraser is also the equivalent of 2.5 regular pencil erasers. The value of these pencils is great and they're worth every penny. Overall: PROS: -Eraser -Thick lead -Cheap CONS: -None I'd recommend this product to anyone who needs a pencil and has issues with writing too hard, running out of an eraser, or being sick of sharpening pencils. I seriously love this brand of pencils.
