When it arrived I put it to work immediately. The compressor section is OK but as I like to use this effect sparingly that's alright. The OD is good for my "edge of breakup" setting. I am fond of the ability to switch the comp-OD order though. The boost function is also just OK. There isn't much headroom before breakup. The real downer here is the "effects loop". I thought that I might have gotten a bad unit because when I have effects in the loop I can hear them regardless of any switching! That's right, no ability to switch the loop on or off. So I contacted Movall's customer service and was informed that the Rocket Train was designed like this! They said that the loop is between the OD/comp and the boost. They further said that I need to turn the effects on/off individually! So asked them what benefit the loop function was at all. No answer. So there you have it.
