SystemBuild Evolution Kendall 54" Wall Cabinet in White

I got these 'used' but described by Amazon as 'like new' for $112 delivered. I suspect the package had been returned by someone else because of a manufacturing blemish on one of the three doors. It was something that - although quite noticeable when you know it's there, I confess I didn't spot it until I'd already assembled the thing! Having followed the advice given on the front of the installation instruction booklet, instead of returning it yet again to Amazon, I called the company's customer service number and a very helpful woman agreed to send me a replacement door without even requiring photos or, indeed, any evidence of the blemish. The new door arrived just a few days later and was perfect. As others have mentioned, the back of the cabinets is just a flimsy card, but although I did use it, you could easily do without it if you prefer to. The rest of it is made out a mixture of very solid and heavy MDF (doors) and chipboard (frame). It's certainly good enough quality for my utility room purposes and I expect it to last a long time. Taken together with the fantastic customer service I experienced, I am very happy with my purchase and equally happy to recommend it to others.

This was purchased for the space above washer/dryer, fitting perfectly as designed for that application. The color was one reason to choose this one over the other brand, as well as the cardboard backing. With several shades of white bath and laundry fixtures as well as walls. the two-toned gray cabinet was the best look. The backing being carboard lessens weight and gives a good look when the door is open, and is a challenge to slide into the grooves, but the product description is clear. This is not a hardwood cabinet from a fine furniture store, so plan to be slow and careful and patient in assembly. As a 7th decade widow, I am pleased to have assembled this. One section has the shelf in the high position with a flat set of five drying rods for delicates to hang on inside of door. It is out of sight when not in use and takes up no space from storage, but when door is open, the rods can fan out .

So the cabinets are pretty easy to assemble, that's a plus; took me maybe 30 minutes or so to put together, was fairly straight-forward if you've assembled flat-pack furniture before. Parts were well labeled, so that always makes it so much easier. The cabinets were of overall decent condition; one of the shelves has wrinkling on the veneer, and there's a very slight broken bit/chip of particleboard on a corner, but nothing to overall be very noticeable or affect the unit. These aren't of comparable quality to even the builder-grade stuff preassembled wall cabinets could get at a box store, but fairly standard for flat-pack quality, and of course a lower cost. The biggest. annoyance is the color is strange; first, it's two-tone, which isn't interesting, not ideal, but whatever, it's just a strange design choice. However, the cabinet fronts would be quite a stretch to consider as "grey", as you can tell from my photo, they're practically the same white as our laundry machines. but just dull enough that most "white" furniture stands out against it, so good luck matching it if needed. So overall if these are some of the cheapest cabinets you can find, as they were for us, then you'll be happy, as they're of plenty passable quality, easy to assemble and hang (I like the french-cleat design for hanging), sturdy (I did drive some extra screws in the back so it's not just resting on the cleat for all its support), and looks good enough. Just note possible quality issues, and the strange color design for the "grey".

I’m satisfied with my purchase. They were rather cheaply priced, arrived quickly, simply to assemble; had it from out the box to hanging on wall within 2 hours. My concerns with buying this was the mixed reviews about them being weak and crashing off the wall. They are made of sturdy pressboard but it is really poorly designed where the cabinets attach to wall. To ease my mind and not having to worry bout them falling I put simple corner braces on all the joints, $7 at local hardware store and installed shelf brackets on every stud under the cabinet which can be seen in pictures. Bought those on amazon of coarse for think was $15 and each set holds 400 lbs. pretty sure I can hang from my cabinets but rather do the lil extra then be really sorry if something happens. Overall I do recommend these cabinets but please plan on strengthening them some.

I've put together many cabinets ..shelfs ect ...that basically all go together very similar. This one was below average You have to be very careful to hit the screw holes ..sone don't line up.. I had one of the cam bolts split the wood upon tightening..BY HAND The back cardboard piece ..very difficult to get in place The wood pieces that hold the hinges are cut alittle short..when u attach the back brace (French cleat) it pulls in to those boards...cleat should remain straight. Overall not bad ..with alittle design correction on the makers end could result in a nice affordable cabinet. I do give them props on using a French cleat for mounting Makes it alot easier. One note ..if your doing this alone ..skip the part of putting in shelves and doors on the cabinet until u place it on the wall...makes it much lighter to handle

It was extremely easy to build and hang. Would definitely buy more products from them.

The cabinets look great the the price was low compared to similar products. This is a 2 person job unless you are super strong, great with tools and can follow instructions easily. What we liked: -size is perfect and can fit alot -Looks really nice -Somewhat sturdy -Great price What we did not like: -Some pieces were scratched up - was mostly the inside so not too bad -instructions are all over the place and can be confusing - the back of this item is just cardboard and was a nightmare to install Overall an ok product considering the price

Easy to assemble (for me anyhow), and vert sturdy. I'm docking one star on assembly because the back does not slide in very well, as it's very flimsy. Other than that it looks great!

Assemblage asser simple seulement procurer vous qques pièces vices et autres à l'avance car, manque. Fond fait d'un vrai carton si j'ai un message à dire à la cie serai de mettre une mince plache de ripe pressée mais pas 1 feuille de carton. Attention lorsqu'à privation des vives certaines pièces sont très fragiles et essentielles à la mise en place pour mettre au mur. Nous avons dû faire une petite réparation colle avec des serrés pour ensuite terminer par les porte et mettre le tout sur le mur.. une Foix fait sa vaut vraiment la peine. Placer dans la buandrie (salle de lavage)ces parfait. Paraît très bien.

the holes for assembly of the gables did not line up, hinge hardware very poor quality and the material is the white paper material to look like white melamine.
