I was skeptical at first as the reviews are not the greatest, so I tried BONIES Natural Calming Small Singles through Amazon Subscribe & Save. Well, they work great for my fearful rescue Doxie! We did behavior modification training as a pup and he was fine with fireworks for years but last year he refused his July 4th favorite bone and sat on the bed scared. And this year during some pre-holiday fireworks from neighbors he urinated in the corner, twice now and July 4th is not even close. So with some more behavior modification training and the help of one BONIES Natural Calming Small Singles at dusk, he's been good and much calmer. Still a little scared but not urinating in the corner or anywhere else. These work on my rescue dog. She has anxiety issues. I’ve ordered these before and I’m back ordering more. These have helped during horrible storms in FL. These have also helped when we take her for grooming, vet visits, and when we have a houseful of guests visiting. These don’t make her groggy or leave her with no energy. They take the edge off so she’s comfortable rather than a nervous wreck. Wish they had a bigger size for larger dogs.

Our dogs love these, we bought two sizes because we have an English Setter and a little Weenie dog. The sizes were just right for each of them. Our English Setter is pretty high anxiety and we give them to her sometimes before bed and she really does sleep a little better. We do not give them every day, maybe 2-3 a week.

When they say small it’s small. More for a tiny dog. But our dogs loved the little snack. They loved the taste cause they ate it all. Didn’t last more than a minute thou. Never did calm them down which I really didn’t except it to.

My dog didn't like it but my cats did. Go figure! The price is excellent, at the of this review it's 69 cents. It is for small dogs, it's a small bone. For some reason my dog does not like bones, any bones unless they are plastic with a rope. But my cats loved it which is why I gave it 5 stars. I will definitely buy it again for my cats. Lol. So I highly recommend this bone if not for your dog then for your cat!

My dog loves these and they do seem to calm him down. We have had to move to a temp apt. while waiting for our house to be finished. I think the break in his routine and change of scenery has made him very anxious and maybe scared. I still keep his day routine exactly like it was but we don't have a fenced yard for him and so someone always has to go out with him and he can't just go out and bark and lay in the sun. I do recommend the bones. He likes the taste and it takes him about 10 minutes to chew one which is pretty good. They are kind of pricey though.

once your dog becomes accustomed to them, the vendor stops selling them to you. Evidently, in a free market economy, this vendor does not want to sell product to repeat customers in quantities that will keep them coming back. Find yourself someone to buy from that is not deciding how many treats you can have. Update: It may be a monthly limit only as they allowed me to buy again. I wonder if this is to encourage repeat customers to subscribe.
