its work with 70-200 on Nikon d850? it can handle much weight?

I think you are asking how much weight it can handle? Peak Design web site says the Anchor Link System is rated to 200+ pounds. Obviously you wouldn't lift that much weight. I have a Nikon 200-500mm lens that weights 5 pounds and 2 pounds for the camera, for a total of 7 pounds. The strap feels comfortable with that camera + lens weight.

Will this product work well while hiking on trails?

I am approx. 6 ft.. when I have the strap at it's approx full length, I can walk with my nikon d7200 at loc of back right pocket. Can comfortably walk. Have not done any long hikes.

How do you mount the new plate on a tripod? The old one was Arca Swiss compatible, this one??

This new version will come with an Anchor Mount which is not tripod compatible, will either need to use your own tripod plate or grab our Standard Plate separately.

Is there a safety strap available to prevent loss of camera?

I’m not sure why you’d need a safety strap in addition to the camera strap. I just make sure I have positive control of the strap before a pick up the camera.
