I build model railroads professionally for AffordableModelRailroads.com and we use both hex and standard shank drill bits and this works great to use standard bits in our hex shank drills and drivers. Keyless chuck tightens and loosens easy. We used to use the name brand ones and they took keys and always got stuck and would not release the bits

The item appears to be well-made and sturdy for its size, with smooth, easy operation. Will update after a few uses.

The "tool" Arrived rusty in a dirty bag and a torn box. The chuck threads feel spongy, slightly out of round. It looks like a tool that's been neglected for 15 years in a plumbers travel tool box. You know, scratches, dirt, rust, like it got forgot in a rotary tumbler for a week. I'll send it back in search of something from a supplier that gives more care for their reputation, and maybe more care for our Earth's limited resources. To think, this will go into a large Amazon return pallet, go to the highest bidder, shipped, and ultimately, straight to landfill. Seems like it should be illegal. Buy expensive tools and cry once instead of crying constantly every time you use it.

I bought this because my drill died and all I had was my impact. As you can see by my picture, I needed to use a hole saw and this was way cheaper than buying a new drill. I gave 4 stars only because it makes the impacts center of gravity off when adding any heavy attachments. Completely understandable but it is what it is. I would definitely buy it again for the price.

Works ok. It keeps coming off and I needed to re-tighten/adjust a few times.
