Mini statue of liberty prop
Cool small statue replica for my kids school project. Simple to construct and fun to build. Everyone loved it and it stood out from all the rest of the projects. Great detail. , keep in mind it is rather small but that's also what I was looking to buy.

Simple but cute
I bought this puzzle to do with my 5 year old granddaughter as she has been fascinated with the statue of liberty lately. She absolutely loved it. It's not a large puzzle. The directions are very simple. It took about an hour total to assemble it. I highly recommend it.

'Twould fit together better if could work from top to bottom
makes a really nice object when put together, but the instructions are a bit difficult and probably need some more thought. If the thing was put together from the top down, then it would be much easier to get the tabs into their slots without leaving gaps where things didn't fit properly, but you can't do that if you follow their instructions. The start with the base, so when you are pushing tabs down into the base, you can't get your hands up underneath to grab the tab and pull. Still, this kit provided a few hours of constructive pleasure for my 6-year-old, and it was a good model to take to school for his speech on a wonderful symbol of America's past hospitality.

An experience. But not a puzzle.
I think this is only marketed as a 'puzzle' because the build quality is too low to be offered as a 'model.' What you get is a foam-board die-cut model with already applied stick-on surface graphics. The pieces come numbered and explained by decently clear visual instructions which assembles into a slot-and-tab model that you would not want to repeatedly disassemble and reassemble like a typical jig-saw puzzle. Really, it's a souvenir for one-time assembly and display, and for that it's a bit too delicate. While the foam board is a step up from the paper/cardboard that jigsaw puzzles are usually made from, for something that is intended to maintain a space-enclosing shape over time it is inadequate and will come apart in any encounter with other objects - whether kid's room detritus (flying socks?) to house animals to vacuum cleaners and feather dusters. I'd rather have paid a few dollars more and had it made of hard plastic pieces that might have a longer shelf life. The statue section itself is particularly inelegant in that it uses three flat pieces with a pair of spacer pieces to simulate her three-dimensionality. Assembly with my 10-year-old daughter took about an hour, which we enjoyed. It was straightforward once she began to follow the directions, which were clear, rather than staying with her initial trial-and-error approach. A nice bit of together time and a little bit of a learning experience while making something tangible about a memory from visiting New York. If the result was likely to have a decent shelf life I would have given it five stars.

Nice 3D puzzle
My son loves puzzles, so I decided to buy him this 3D puzzle so he could use as part of a 3rd grade project. The directions were a little confusing. But with a little help he was able to put it together. The puzzle was not to sturdy. Overall it was a really good 3D puzzle. he got a lot of compliments on his project especially his 3d puzzle.
