That’s why with regular steel it isn’t magnetic when it’s hot, the pearlite and martencite phases convert to austinite when heated. Turn the 4oz fuel canister upside down and drop it in the Stanley Pot. Put the pocket stove on top of that. You should have room for a spork, and some spice packs, a little dish soap and a small cleaning cloth. The SS cup is less weight than the plastic ones and you can cook in it. Just use dry/ moist sand or dirt to remove soot and anything left inside the kettle then wipe as as much as possible and rinse with clean water..after several camp fire uses mine still looks brand new! You can boil a little water in it to sterilize prior to using again you don't need to carry soap or steel wool and it's not bad for the environment.
