I absolutely love this product. My 2b/2c hair is halfway down my back, medium density and normal porosity. I started transitioning to silver from brunette and this really helps to manage the different textures throughout my hair from the natural gray, and the highlights/balayage I've had done to help blend it all together. I usually brush style it on wash day, but even if I don't have time, I can just rake and shake, and this will still form my beautiful waves. It works great if I air dry or diffuse, lasts for at least 3 days, and most importantly as it's summer here in TX, this stuff does not wash out when I go swimming! I just scrunch my hair a bit and go about my day and my waves return as soon as my hair dries. I'm so happy I found this product early in my journey to return to my natural wavy hair because a lot of products don't hold the shape for more than 1 day. This stuff lasts and as my hair grows longer the added weight hasn't had an effect on how well this works to keep my hair soft, shiny, and manageable. The scent is definitely more natural than most hair products, but I like that. It isn't overpowering and fades once my hair is dry so I can add my own perfume if I wish. Overall, this stuff is a 10/10. Now I just need to find replacements for the rest of the Davines line I was using as they discontinued most of the original Love Curl line, just as my bottles were about to be empty. It will be a learning experience for sure, but for now I have the serum, mousse, and just enough of the Curl Primer Spray to get me thru until I can figure out what to use in its place. The products are not drugstore prices which does make experimenting a little more risky - especially since I recently learned Amazon no longer accepts returns from Davines, but once you find what works for you a little really does go a long, long way.

I have very fine, wavy hair. When I work this product into damp hair, it creates great, lasting curls that look natural and aren't "crunchy". One of the best curl creams I've used. Two minor complaints -- it doesn't smell amazing (not bad, just not great) and the hole on the top of the bottle is a little too wide, which makes it difficult to control the amount of product that comes out.

Legitimately, this is the only curl product I'll ever use again. It is so perfect; lightweight, smells great, easy to apply, and brings beautiful shape and volume to my hair. I used it when my hair was down to my waist, I use it now for my mullet. This bottle would last me about 6 months when my hair was long, and I've been coasting on my last one for well over a year with my hair short. You need way less than you think, so is ABSOLUTELY worth the price.

I'm a Davines girl. Love their products. I'm Asian and have wavy hair, so I use this serum after I shower and when my hair has dried a bit, but still a little moist, I use the serum to scrunch my waves and it holds alll day. It gives me the beachy hair waves that I like. I have tried all types of wavy hair products and this one hits the spot. It's a little expensive but I think it's worth it because it doesn't leave a gel like or hard feeling. And the scent isn't too strong. If it works for an Asian girl, it should definitely work for all types of hair.

I really like the is so far. I have very fine, wavy/curly hair that easily frizzes out like an 80s hair band. I’ve been adding to my hair in the shower while it’s dripping wet, combing out with a large tooth comb, then letting air dry. My curls are much more defined with this and it leaves my hair soft and bouncy. (No crunchiness, no greasy feel when dry) I will say it’s hit/miss on product amount. Too much and my hair goes flat, refusing to curl. Too little, and I have a frizzy mess. Working through that process as I use this & I imagine everyone’s hair it different. Still, I’m very pleased so far.

This has worked as a great curly hair product for short curly hair. It doesn't leave a crusty hard feeling after it dries. It is easy to use, great value for the quantity you get and leaves my hair feeling stylable even after it dries.

...trying to decide if I like this product, or not. So it's not truly a "recommend" from me. The serum helps, somewhat, to define the parts of my hair that are super-curly. What I'm really disappointed with, though, is that the product doesn't do anything to help hold curl where my hair is wavy and needs something to encourage curl. There's a lot of serum in the bottle, which is great if it works for you, but it's an expensive item if you invest in it and find it just makes your hair crunchy, which it does do to mine. Also leaves my hands really sticky. Maybe I'm using a bit too much, but I keep trying to make the stuff DO something. Okay...I think I've decided: I'm definitely not wild about This Is A Curl Building Serum 'cause well, it doesn't build curl. Not at all. And it has crappy staying power; I feel like I put it into my hair and in a short while it's not there, anymore. Doesn't seem to hydrate or add shine, either. What IS this product really for? Hmm. I've used less pricey options that work better. The fragrance is nice, there's that.

Además, utilizo minoxidil, por lo que encontrar productos que realmente ayuden no ha sido sencillo. Después de probar varias opciones, este ha sido el único producto que realmente ha marcado una diferencia en mi cabello. Lo hidrata profundamente, le devuelve el brillo, lo deja suave y, algo que valoro muchísimo, mantiene mis rizos definidos sin aportar peso ni generar más frizz. Incluso al día siguiente, cuando lo lavo, puedo sentir la suavidad del cabello desde la ducha. Confieso que dudé al hacer la primera compra por el precio, pero después de usarlo entendí perfectamente su valor. Sin duda, se ha convertido en un básico de mi rutina y seguiré comprándolo.
