I love these switches!
I've been using the same switches for 15 years now in all sorts of scenarios. They are flexible, powerful, well-built, easy to programme and manage. The VLAN settings are a little tricky to navigate, but if you're smart enough to use VLANs in the first place, you'll work it out. I've got some of these that have been running for 10 years +. Hard to beat these days.

Works really well and is fast
Why did you choose this product over others?: I'm really impressed with this. I have been using a uniFi Poe switch but that broke and I replaced it with this one. And to my surprise, my uniFi access points are much faster using this. Definitely recommended

Just The Job!
Nice Hub, relatively simple to set up and well made as you would expect from Netgear

Great little managed switch
Great little switch with POE and basic management options. We bought ours for use with Dante and so far they have been solid and have worked with everything we have thrown at them. Work right out of the box and if you do need to make changes, the menus are easy to navigate and are well laid out.

Disappointing no LACP support
This is a very good switch with lots of management features but I was disappointed to find it would only do static link aggregation and does not support LACP. Neither do many other managed switches in her Netgear range apart from (as far as I can determine) the GS108T, which is about the same price as the GS308EP but not PoE (other than Port 1 input to power the switch only). The GS308EP allows only two LAG groups to be created each up to 4 ports whereas the GS108T allows up to 4 LAG groups of 2+ ports. The GS308EP is a very smart looking, all black switch and I found it easy to locate on my network using the Neagear Switch Discovery Tool. The new GUI is quite stylish in dark mode and has a range of features but, again, not as many as the GS108T. I guess you have to choose based on your primary use case for the switch. I would have liked both PoE and LACP but I will use this primarily for PoE although this is a waste of the management functions and I could get an unmanaged PoE switch for half the price.

Nice compact PoE managed switch.
Not a lot to say against this little PoE switch, it works really well with a GS105PE as a satellite PoE powered hub and has a nice UI for setting up ports and VLANs. Some niggles Ling aggregation did not work with a Zyxel XGS-1210 It doesn't have multi-gigabit ports.

Does exactly what I needed
Nothing to comment other than took it out the box, plugged it in and it worked first time with my POE cctv cameras.
