Make sure the input size is the same **Q: Will this work with pioneer avh-521ex?** A: Yes the Pioneer decks all use the 2.5mm plug , it is smaller than the other manufactures mic's adapter. **Q: Where do I plug it in on a avh120bt?** A: The avh120bt doesn’t have a microphone plug on the back , it has a built in microphone in the left top corner of the front of the unit. It sucks and Pioneer has a definite design flaw in their hands. I have the same issue . **Q: Does it work with talk to text?** A: Yes. When I’m on my Bluetooth, I dictate to my iPhone. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sounds and fits great! *by on Reviewed in Canada 12 July 2019* Works great. Looks and sounds like OEM. No complaints at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for pioneer AVH-2330NEX DOUBLE DIN *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 February 2022* Not all microphones will work , make sure you get the one your head unit calls for .I had purchased a universal mic first to save money and it didn’t function with my head unit .This mic however works like it should with my pioneer AVH-2330NEX head unit . This mic picks up sound crystal clear so I can be heard without having to repeat myself while on hands free calls .The only thing I didn’t like is the mounting clip which could be better so I mounted the mic with zip ties . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fit for pioneer system *by on Reviewed in India 22 March 2026* It fit perfectly in my Pioneer System as my old mic wire got cut....Good fit ## Frequently Bought Together - Universal for Pioneer Replacement Bluetooth Microphone Mic 2.5mm Jack Long Cable Assembly for All Pioneer Bluetooth Enabled Car Stereo CD DVD Player Radio Navigation BT with Clip Mount - By Alphasonik - BATIGE Square Single Port USB 3.0 Panel Flush Mount Extension Cable with Buckle for Car Truck Boat Motorcycle Dashboard 3ft - FingerLakes Microphone Mic 2.5mm Pioneer Compatible for Car Vehicle Stereo Radio GPS DVD Bluetooth Enabled Head Unit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/262397203-alphasonik-universal-for-pioneer-replacement-bluetooth-microphone-mic-2-5mm](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/262397203-alphasonik-universal-for-pioneer-replacement-bluetooth-microphone-mic-2-5mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
