I would do both. They are better because they offer rigidity. They won’t bend a comic and won’t damage one of dropped.

What is the opening dimensions? Is this a wide opening like a Magazine style top loader or thin like a Baseball card top loader?

The opening is about a 3/16- 1/4 of an inch. It’s designed for comic books. Magazines may be too thick to fit inside. Baseball cards would be too thin for it.

Will these hold graphic novels which are a little bit thicker?
