OdorStop Flexible Duct in Various Sizes and Lengths with Connecting Belt, 8-in by 25-ft

Not really 8” ducting unless fully extended.
Make sure to extend it out the full length. If you leave a portion still folded in the airflow will be severely restricted due to friction as the tube is is roughly only 4.5 to 5 inches when not pulled out and extended. This was not readily apparent until I had used the unit once and thought about a situation where maybe I only needed 10ft of tube pulled out.. nope, you gotta pull it all out. This is due largely because of how much material is between the coils... it allows the material to collapse inward creating more air friction, a lot more, than you might get with a tighter coil pattern like you see on the collapsible foil ducting. It's ok but you just need to be aware the tube needs to be stretched out completely to get max air flow. ( see image of the collapsed tube )At the start of the tube there is also some excess PVS material on the inside ( where it's seamed together with the black portion that wraps around your fan. This causes some blow back bursts if you PUSH air through the tubing from the fan. Probably not an issue if you PULL air to the fan.All in all, it's convenient and certainly durable looking and feeling. If you need 8” of air ducting you should buy at least a size up. Wish I had just returned this from the beginning and ordered a larger version.

Storage bag is to small.
I have the 14 inch x 25foot. I put it on a 12 inch fan because of concern that the 12 inch duct might not fit. I got burned on a purchase from a different brand prior with fitment. After 1 experimental use I found that the bag for it is barely long enough to get it stuffed back in there. The bag could also be larger diameter. These pvc duct get very stiff in cold weather, so if I use this in the winter which I do a lot, I rather doubt I’ll be able to stuff it back in the bag at the end of the day. And I’m that guy that can pack a tent back in it’s bag with enough extra room to also stuff an extra tarp in there to for the ground. While struggling to stuff the duct back into the bag I managed to tear a few threads on the handle. I’d like to see a storage bag that is a larger diameter and twice as long. These never collapse down in real life like they do on the hot factory floor for shipping.

A tad disappointed--but it works
Works...sort of. I mean the duct itself is decently built (don't accidentally step on it but if you do it still functions) but the problem is getting it to achieve a tight seal on my dri-eaz heap 500. Maybe I have a learning disability but this does not seal effectively to the unit. I have had to use zip ties in order to create a tight enough seal so I don't get the clean air exhaust kicking up dust that has settled on the floor. Again, maybe I'm just dopey but I have had friends look at this and they are also dumbfounded. I swing a hammer for a living but one of my buddies is a physicist so even though my IQ may be sub par, his is definitely not.All said, the duct is durable. I have stepped on it numerous times and although it is a tad 'bent out of shape' it has not ripped.

Great for moving clean air in, as well as dirty air out.
These ducts are a life saver, with many uses. If you are a contractor - it’s obvious. Clean air means clean home for home owners. I use them for grinding concrete before applying epoxy coatings. They work great for pushing dust out, as well as placing outside to bring fresh air in. I have the 12” and a couple 14” models. They both fit on a rigid air handler without problems (although the 12” is a little tight, it works with some patience). They rinse off with a garden hose and fold nicely to use again. Be careful with the ropes on the bag, they tear the vinyl easy if you pull to hard!

Great Product Highly Recommend!
This is a great product. Do not let the complaints about the built in bag in many of the reviews make you consider another duct system. The bag is big enough and it is not hard to get the duct back into the built in bag. That said, the rope tie does not work because the vinyl is too thick and stiff to close with a rope. I just purchased two Velcro straps to hold the duct in the bag, works great This is a great product, especially for the money. As noted in a number of the reviews, purchase the duct which is one size larger than your fan. I have a 14 inch fan and the 14 inch duct would not fit on my fan. The 16 inch fit perfect.

Convenient 14" flex duct
Works as it should -- really like the integrated carry case. I use it on a Power X-430T and there is lots of room in the strap cinch for an even bigger fan.Two items of note, one for OdorStop and one for future buyers.1. It would be nice to have some sort of clasp on the drawstring (that holds it in the carry pouch) tight, rather than a rope w/ hand tied & untied knot.2. The loose end (away from fan) duct fits over a crimped duct end (ie, its a female-ended duct that fits over a male adapter. It will not go over/around a 14" female adapter.

Helps air scrubber work more efficiently.
A lot of money for what it is, but the air scrubber works better with the hose attached. Self storage bag is nice, but hose can crush easily, making it harder to put in the bag. Not sure how long term life will be.

this is great for transferring air from one place to another I use it for my air-conditioning in my pickup and I have a window unit in the back camper and I send the cold air to the front of the cab or AC when I'm not running the truck
