The calculator will simplify square roots that are not perfect squares and if you need a decimal answer then press the sd key and if will convert it to a decimal. **Q: Is there a comma separator - thousands function for millions and billions,etc. for example 50,000,000,000?** A: This is not a business calculator - not sure why you'd want a comma separator when you'd be using scientific notation: 5x10^10 for example. **Q: How is this different than the fx-300ESPLUS2 ?** A: I am not familiar with the fx-300ESPLU52. You might be able to go to the Casio website to get information on how they are different. This one (the fx-115) has many features which I have not yet used. **Q: can it used in SAT exam?** A: I'm a retired hs teacher.
