I can only eat 3 foods without severe symptoms. I was taking sixteen Benadryl a day and it was hardly effective. It took about 3-4 days to have it be effective, and never full relief. Due to immune allergies the Relief from all allergy symptoms are not gone and I still have bouts of symptoms. The Histame has made living tolerable. I also had sea sick symptoms from pre Menopause. I got my first migraine with aura (HORRIBLE) I ever had in my life followed by 2 more over the months. Cut to a little over a year of this "healthy" diet" & I had a constant headache and felt so exhausted every time I ate anything & researched for months before realizing this was the issue. These are really a Godsend and work like a miracle but geeeez so expensive! Under the box that it in it says: Other Ingredients: Cellullose, water, HDU = Histamine Digesting Units Lactose-free - Wheat-free - Gluten-free - Soy-free. Hope that info helps. **Q: Does this have d a o in it????** A: No. They reformulated it. It no longer has DAO in it. **Q: I don't see what anyone thinks is "clean" about these ingredients. list the ingredients and tell my why "clean." no dao anymore. why is that?** A: Good question. I ordered it thinking it was the same formula. Clearly not. I use DAO replacement supplements to eat like a "normal" person within reason. I have severe food intolerances with a mast cell disorder. This will help you digest food; quercetin is a powerful mast stabilizer, but it has to build up in your system (see Dr. Theoharides' research, Tufts University). This would not keep you "safe" as would the DAO supplements. One theory is that people with severe intolerances do not make enough DAO. I have to be extremely careful not to go into shock. I would like to hear from people who have used this new version of Histame. **Q: Why doesn't the back of the bottle sow DAO as an ingredient?** A: Yes HistDao does list DAO (diamond oxidase) as an ingredient. It has 20,000 HDU as a matter of fact!!! One of the higher containing brands. Initially I developed worse and worse insomnia. My heart developed palpitations. I would flush badly with food and drink. My eyes were often red. My neck developed what seemed like a permanent muscle spasm. Finally--what caused me to go searching for a solution--I developed a skin rash on around one eye and all over my neck. Lovely!
