Review: Great remote for ceiling fan - This remote synced up to my fan easily. I took a picture of the fan dip switch settings on my phone so I could easily see the pattern to program the remote. The manufacturer discontinued the original black colored remote the fan/light combo came with so this was great to be able to find a product that was compatible and allowed all the functions to work (i.e. speed, forward/reverse, and both up and down light control). I'm not the hugest fan of the colors as it reminds me of hospital call button remote, but the functionality is perfect and I could not find any other product that actually worked.
