Advion Ant Bait Arena 12ct

Awesome product!!!! I had ants in my clean kitchen; on the floor, counters & base boards but didn't know where they were coming in from. I barricaded off the affected area so my dog couldn't accidentally get exposed to the poison. And just for added protection, I set 3 traps on the floor under disposable cups that I cut tabs into for the ants to enter/exit from. IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS...NO MORE ANTS!!!! I'm leaving the traps out for a week to make sure the coast is clear. But...THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS FAST!

I have used these several times, better than just wiping them out with instant poisons. These have worked very well. It does take some patience. After placing the arena, the ants will swarm more, but usually, the next day, they are gone. My dog and the cats do not disturb the arenas. I like that they have a light adhesive so they can be placed on sloped or vertical surfaces adjacent to the ant trails.

One of the BEST ant baits on the market. While waiting for the exterminator to come to my mother-in-law's home, I gave her a few of the ADVION BAIT TRAPS to place inside her newly infested kitchen. She noticed rather quickly that the ant problem was resolving, and even considered cancelling the appointment with the exterminator. When he did arrive, she mentioned that the problem seemed to have nearly abated. He asked what product she had used, and seemed quite impressed with her selection of ADVION, stating that it was one of the best. Prior to moving to a farming area 40 years ago, we hadn't had issues with ants. However, since then we have come to count on mice in the fall, and ant invasions each and every spring, forcing us to place all foods inside sturdy sealed storage containers to avoid food contamination. We've witnessed scores of large ants, small ants, outdoor ant hills, and this year, the tiniest indoor ants we've EVER seen. We discovered ADVION decades ago, and have come to rely on it. We simply place a new ADVION bait traps (or add a fresh application of bait gel to existing traps) in all of the usual locations/areas of ant sightings (under kitchen sink, entrance/exit doors, bathrooms, lower level rooms, etc). We have even laid down a stripe of Advion gel onto some locations where ants seem to be congregating. The problem seems to remedy within days. I personally prefer the ant bait trap devices, as I learned early on that it helped contain the toxin used to eradicate the little pests (rather than have exposed stripes of it dispensed about the house). Early on, our puppy found them initially intriguing and would sometimes grab one, however he was never sickened, and quickly lost interest as he matured. I was also careful to hide them when the grandchildren visited, and was fortunate when they also quickly lost interest and/or heeded warning regarding handling the little orange traps. Overall, these are my "go to" pest control for ants. I've even considered placing the ant bait crystals outside, but for now, the bait traps and gel seems to keep things under control. Fortunately, we have not had issue with roaches, etc, but I wouldn't hesitate to try the ADVION ROACH CONTROL if ever that problem might present. This brand seems very reliable and effective.

This product is a miracle product. I tried several other things, with no results. These made a huge dent in the infestation of ants, the ants love it, and I noticed a huge decrease in the number if active colonies after a week or so. But, the scent also attracts dogs, all of my dogs, even the very picky eater tried eating these. I had to cover them with spiky mesh pinned into the ground to prevent my dogs from getting them. The squirrels also tried eating them. The peanut butter scent is likely the reason. I purchased the clear gel type, and the animals don't care about them, but the ants are a little less attracted to that type, also.

Maybe I got a bad batch and the bait is expired or has dried out, but this product is completely ineffective. The ants ignore the bait stations and adjusted their foraging trail to walk around them. After 48 hours, there is absolutely no decrease in ant actvity. Also note that the adhesive pads supplies for vertical surfaces will stick to the traps, but not other surfaces - e.g., concrete. Double-sided tape can be used to mount the trap successfully, but again, the the small black ants in our area avoid the traps entirely.

These are IMPRESSIVE. Anyone in a warm climate knows the hell we go through every year in the summer. Ants find shelter inside homes, climb into bed with you, and bite you as you try to sleep. I’ve tried so many other brands and none of them work as well as this. Other brands leak out of their packaging and damage flooring, and ants often get used to those super fast. However, these are well packaged and prevents itself from leaking. Ants swarm quickly and the bait is super effective. While most ants bring back the bait to the hive, I can see the effectiveness as some ants don’t make it more than a feet from the bait itself, unlike other brands. Take one out of the zipped packaging, place, and leave. No need to struggle with ripping open plastic packaging and worry about spilling. Brilliant!

Advion Arena is a protein-based bait product, which means it works best when combined with a glucose-based bait. In our experience, 90% of ants ended up going for the glucose bait (we used Terro), and only a handful went for the Arena bait. But the arena comes in a self-enclosed station which is convenient for placing quickly around the house. And the solid base means it can be placed at an angle or even upside-down. Overall, useful to have around since a colony's food preference may change over time. And the resealable bag is great for keeping it fresh in storage.

We had ants that I tried getting rid of with the T rhymes with arrow product for weeks with no success. I put this stuff next to that product and within a day we had a trail of dead ants going back to their source. Sucked the dead up with a vacuum and haven’t seen any since.
