is there enough of a lip so i can use an exhaust clamp to clamp this on?

Mine did not have any lip for a clamp. Weld on is a must.

I have a 1992 k1500 blazer with a 5.7 it has 3" from engine back and burned out gass packs will this tone it down at least a little bit
