Magpul MOE 1911 Grip Panels

Excellent quality, design and function. Perfect grip texture for all around shooting. Suitable for firearms with and without magazine wells, and with and without ambidextrous safeties. The absolute best mag release cutout on the market. Completely unencumbered access to the mag release and feels great in the hand.

While I've used Magpul products before, this is the first set of 1911 MOE grips that I have tried. I like them and they are affordable. They fit perfect on my Colts, Kimber, RIA, and even my GSG which surprised me. They seem to be sturdy and well made. I really like the grip texture. It's somewhere between checkered wood and G10. Sort of a Goldilocks texture. Not too slippery and not too aggressive. Still getting used to the thumb scoop. It's a bit odd to me since I'm used to full GI type grips. Not bad, just different and I'll need to shoot with them a bit to get used to it. One observation is that I have medium hands and still have to shift my grip to reach the mag release with my right thumb so keep that in mind. The grips are ambi cut, but all of my guns run GI type safeties, left side only, so I can't comment on how well they fit for ambi-safeties. I'm happy with them and would buy them again.

I installed the Magpul grips on my Remington R1 today and they fit perfectly with the original screws and bushings. They look great and feel great. I love the thumb cut out for the magazine release. Very happy with the product!

I've seen several photos online of people who have replaced their factory 1911 grips with this set from Magpul and I liked the way they looked. I tried them on a Remington 1911 R1 and not only were they a perfect fit, but I really like the way they dress up the overall look of the firearm. A nice, inexpensive upgrade - not that the factory grips looked bad, these are just a lot nicer. This photo doesn't show that the left-side grip has a cutout for your thumb to make it easier to get to the mag release. I also find this is a natural place for my thumb to rest when holding the pistol as well, although I'm told that's not its main purpose. Your grip may vary. I added a nice replacement set of stainless steel torx screws with these grips and they offset by the deep black color of the grips with a very attractive new look. Magpul never ceases to impress. I highly recommend these grips.

Love these grips ! Have them on my Springfield MC Operator 1911 and very comfortable grip. Used so far for a year and still looks great. The front of grip is thinner vs regular wood or g10 so that's good for smaller hands.

I put them on my elite force 1911 tac so a little modification was needed to fit on my gun, but nothing a dremel tool and a few grinding, sanding, and cutting tools couldn't fix. bottom line is these are emend improvements over the stock diamond grip panels.

Great grips for their price. Better texture than the government grips, but not too aggressive. Thumb cutout allows mag changes without breaking my grip.

Very slim, cut out makes it very easy to reach mag release, tecture is extremely positive.

Perfect fit. Magpul quality. Recommended.
