love these.
finally had to buy a new set after 7yrs bc the metal clip broke but these have held up to nearly daily use on multiple horses. i love how easy they are to adjust and it's more precise than elastic band ones that stretch out and don't stay even.

Great pair of Side Reins
These are a great pair of side reins!!! My horse is a "typical" horse size and they fit him perfectly. Helps so much to keep his head down and on the bit!! They are great quality and I will be using them for the rest of his life!!! The price is great and my horse was very comfy in them. They have a good range of adjustments as well.

Nope........
The horse size is way too small!!! I can’t use them as they are meant to be, on the “loosest” ring, my horse has his nose touching his chest, I didnt even bother using the rings. I’ve been attaching one buckle to the bit and the other to the surcingle, it’s the only way my horse can comfortably stretch into the slack. Until the buckle broke, with no tension being applied......I hate to write bad reviews, I should have sent them back when I got them and realized that their horse size is more appropriate for my mini horse :(

Short...seem sturdy though
They need to tell you what the length is on these reins. They are 12" shorter than my adjustable doughnut reins, and I don't know if they will work even on my 16h horse. I ordered horse size and they say that is what they shipped, but they seem more like pony length. They need to specify length on both pony and horse size. I am very surprised to read some reviews that say these are too long??? Not sure how they are using them, but in order to loop them back thru the girth or the surscingle rings and attach to the D rings on the reins, they are significantly shorter to the other sets I have used of similar construction.

Very short maybe fine for a pony but no way these can be used for an average sized horse.
These arrived and were insanely short. Wondering if I may have received a pony size set or something

Good value. Minor quality issue.
The only problem I had with these side reins was sharp edges on the ends of the nylon straps slicing my finger open. I used a wood burning tool to melt them down smooth properly.
