Review: Works well - I started making measured pour-over coffee, and this Hario "Switch" Immersion Dripper works well. Simple to use, and the quality and material are great. I would recommend this dripper if you enjoy a good pour-over coffee.
Review: Refreshing Brew - I was thrown off when I ordered this because of the sizes. I wanted the bigger size however the sizes listed were different from the Hario website. I got the smaller one and thought it was a mistake so I initiated a return to get the same size sent back. Upon looking into it, the listing was typo-ed. There was no size like that and they ended up fixing with the correct two sizes. The coffee part of this has been outstanding. I mainly did French Press before switching to this and by far I prefer this method. You get the richness and boldness of a French Press without the sludge or grounds. Having the option to have strictly pour over vs immersion is wonderful as well for when you don't want it as strong or rich. I am using a course grind and it could be the filters or maybe need to fluff the grounds a bit but sometimes it feels like it takes a solid 5-10 minutes for the coffee to completely empty into the cup. Overall the design, ease of cleaning, preparation, and flavor from the device is wonderful.

**Q: Is this the Hario Switch?**
A: Yes this is the Hario Switch coffee dripper.

**Q: The filters that come with the switch are much bigger than the 03 filter replacements.. where do i find the filters that came with the switch?**
A: The filters I use are the Hario-branded "02" size.  When fully seated, they stick up above the rim of the glass funnel by about a half inch (~1 cm).  Hope this helps.

**Q: Where is this product made?**
A: This product is made in Japan

**Q: How much coffe does it make?**
A: Depends on your recipe. The maximum water it can hold at the top is around 250ml but you can open the switch for the water to flow down. I regularly make 350ml cups without problem

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It makes great pour over coffee and immersion coffee.

This is a 2 in 1 coffee maker; it's a pour over, and an immersion maker, though it works better as an immersion maker. This similar to the Clever Dripper but the Hario is made better. As a pour over it works but you have to dribble the water slowly over the grounds for about 5 minutes, the Kaleta Wave 185 stainless pour over works better in the terms of not having to dribble the water for 5 minutes, the 3 holes in the bottom of the Wave 185 are tuned to let the water pass through in about 5 minutes if the grind size is right. They both will make the same quality pour over, it's just that the Wave 185 you don't have to stand over it for 5 minutes. As an immersion maker the Hario makes superbly smooth coffee, simply follow the directions to do it right. The longer you let the coffee set in the Hario the stronger the flavor gets; I've let it set as long as 7 minutes. There are 2 things that the instructions don't tell you. #1, you need to find a lid that will fit on top, I found a plastic lid that fits almost perfectly, the lid will help keep the heat inside the device longer so it can steep properly at the right temperature longer, this is very important. #2, you need to stir the grounds for about 30 seconds after you pour in the water, this will help saturate the grounds to prevent any floaters.
