I've always had problems with my stomach & going to the washroom since I could remember (leading to a lot of problems in my social/professional/academic life). I've never had a formal diagnosis done, but I'm pretty sure I suffer from IBS-A (swinging from one end to the other every couple days - If you're reading this, you know what I mean, so I won't go into details!). I read up on how adding fibre to your diet could help keep things under control, but everything I tried didn't work out too well (i.e. high fibre cereals, power bars, granola bars, oatmeal, more fruits & vegetables, more wholesome breads & pastas etc.). Then I heard of psyllium husks and how they expand up to 50 times when in the presence of liquid, helping those with IBS who 'can't go' go and those who 'go too often' combine into one go. So I decided, enough is enough; buy some psyllium husks and see what happens... I checked in stores for psyllium husks first and they typically come in powder form that you mix & drink, capsules and whole form in bulk. I opted for capsules since they're easier to take as you know how much you're getting for sure in each serving. Of course, I considered price when shopping - there's another, more well known brand that's constantly advertising their products (available on Amazon too), but I found they charge far too much for their products. Luckily, Amazon also had NOW Foods' version of literally the exact same thing, at a fraction of the cost. So I ordered two bottles. The first day or two, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary and actually regretted ordering these supplements. Then came the third day...where things started....working. After taking them in the morning, I found relief about 45 minutes afterwards and felt good throughout the day, never having the urge to go further nor was I worried about 'where all the washrooms were' at any given time of the day - it felt extremely liberating. Then the fourth day came and same thing happened. Then the fifth...and sixth...and now almost two weeks since starting, I've never had a 'stomach' problem! I take 3 caps first thing the morning with a bottle of water and wait 30 minutes before eating anything; typically 'go' once or twice and then I'm good for the rest of the day. Then, about 2-3 hours before bed, I take another 3 caps with a bottle of water. And now everything runs like a well-oiled machine - I feel great, I've actually lost some weight, I'm going out more, I'm never 'late' for anything...I finally feel like I got some stability in this department of life like a 'normal' person, something I've waited so long for. Overall, 5/5 - If you have problems, especially those with IBS, consider this! It will seriously change your life! P.S. Some of the reviewers from Amazon (U.S.-site) have mentioned the 'phantom' movement...with these caps, you occasionally get those, which is absolutely incredible!
