Edit: After contacting the company, my light board is being replaced. Customer service was very nice and tried hard to correct the situation. In the end, they offered to send me a new board. I really liked this light board when it was working. It was big enough for my diamond painting canvases, bright enough to make it easier to see. BUT, if I put the board the right way, with the ArtDot name at the bottom, my arm was constantly hitting the On/Off switch, so I turned it upside down. No problem. But after about 2 months, the light switch mechanism started to lift from the board. Still, no problem. Today when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. One of the tiny little wires has come loose from the switch mechanism. So, I spent $50+ to use this board for 4 months. Very disappointed.

This is the first light board I have ever had. It is thin. The charging inlit on the board feels cheap, not very secure, but for the reasonable price that does not bother me to much! I love the 3 level brightness, and the stand it comes with, makes doing my diamond art much easier! As for the accessories it comes with, AMAZING! I was surprised the diamond tray is HUGE. The 56 diamond container is awesome! I love how it is color coated and all contained together in one convenient box. Overall, I am satisfied.

I purchased this back in January of this year to help with my diamond art. I like that you can choose the brightness level and the size allows to work on different size projects with some adjustment. However, after 2 or so months of use I noticed that the USB connection into the board was becoming loose, and at times, the light wouldn't turn on. I contacted ArtDot with the issue hoping to find a possible fix. In the end they sent me a new board which I am most grateful for. So giant thumbs up and 5 stars for their customer service. WARNING DO NOT BUY! Demand refund! If I wasn’t I’ll and didn’t have medical problems I’d fight for a refund and ship it back!!!! The bar that you see is nothing more then a cheap plastic sticker! Front and back of the USB port has no stability or structure to hold it so The USB port wiggles, it’s not sturdy and falls out of the plastic/sticker frame! I’ve had to tape it but that isn’t all! Because the USB port wiggles it turns the entire light screen on and off at its own will and doesn’t stay lit or goes on after you turn it off! The backside is nothing more then a white sticker that also is wiggly and no supportive of the USB port nor the USB port chip that is supposed to be secure so the item functions and holds sturdy! I have a smaller version from a different seller and even that is fully sturdy reinforced so the chip, wires and port don’t move! My advice DO NOT BUY! PEOPLE SHOULD GET THEIR MONEY BACK!! There should be a refund without question of this defect!!

I had to return the fire gone I got since it was turning off by itself. I had contacted the seller and they worked with me on getting a replacement one and so far it is working wonderfuly. I like the size and brightness. I don’t have to use reading glasses to see the numbers.

Pros - adjustable lighting useful for low-level lighting or bright lights having the backlight makes painting faster and dots easier to place on the desired location the first time without having to slide it around having board angled on easel makes it easier to place dots accurately using large clips to hold project in place keeps from losing your place Cons - A2 size is bulky when trying to transport and doesn't sit well on the short end using the adjustable easel Power/light level changer is so sensitive it is easy to hit and slows down the work while adjusting again - have used upside down to prevent hitting it but the reinforcement at the bottom provides more stability and worry using it upside down and not level will stress the board and eventually crack/break it

My wife loves this light box, but you'll want to turn it upside down because the on/off switch is in the way of using it on a table, plus you will keep turning it off when moving your hand around, if right-handed. Now to find larger designs to use all the space. I'm getting an A3 to use with my stained glass and wood working designs. This will be better than the old 2" light boxes; however, going to need to put it under plexiglass because it doesn't look too strong for scoring glass on.

I did my first diamond painting on a table and my back and neck killed me. It was also not the easiest to see the little symbols. This set was a lifesaver! So easy to set up and use and works well. My only complaint is that the plug-in port for the light board is in a bad spot which interferes with how the board is to be set up so it bends a little bit. I hang it on the edge of the table so its not an issue. Good light to help me see and a nice rack with a wide range of angles you can set it up at. Do not hesitate to get this, makes your life easier and saves time and backache!

I like the brightness and the lightweight and it's so easy to use. There is nothing I don't like about it. I love it

I had this product for less than two months and the connection broke. I contacted the company and within a few days I have a new one! I love this light pad for my artwork. It's bright and big and the stand works really well both on my living room table and my bed table. I like that there are three levels of light so I can use the brightest during the day and lower levels in the evening. I highly recommend this product.
