What is the Battery life?

I've bought several of these in the two-pack and have just timed the battery life. Using newly charged Amazon Basic AAAs (1.2v, 800mAh) on continuous high beam the battery lasted 1 1/2 hours, on low beam it was 5 1/2 hours and on flash it lasted 3 hours. Hope this helps someone. I carry one everywhere and have others tucked away for emergencies.

How long does a new set Energizer max or Duracell last?

I used 3 times as many duracell batteries as my camping buddy used Energizer and he was always playing with his maglight ( the exact same as my light) by the camp fire so when you think that you get the same from different brands of batteries you are a fool like I once was. Energizer lasts longer but duracell will shine brighter. True story. The candle that burners briter dies sooner, so I don't know how to answer!!!

This flashlight can not be 600 lumens on 2 aaa batteries. so how many lumens is the flashlight really.....?

Not sure where you saw 600 lumens, but the description of the 2AAA says it's 200 lumens, and the description of the 1AAA says 150 lumens...

Can this use a 10440 battery

Do not use a 10440, 18650, or other 3.7v lithium-based battery in this flashlight. They have too much voltage, and it will destroy the circuitry within 30 seconds. This light is only meant for the standard AAA 1.5v. Alkaline or rechargeable 1.5v AAA batteries will work.
