Not all arms are created equal some very in durability but this mic is not very heavy since it’s mostly plastic. I have an innoGear are that is very strong and extended length. **Q: How well does this block out background noise? Also, where is the headphone input?** A: The headphone input is on the back of the microphone, next to the usb c port. As for blocking out background noise, it does a fantastic job of blocking out any noise. These guys know what they are doing and it is why their products are always a little pricier. Sure, the base is plastic but its quite strong and durable. Audio quality is extremely clean and has transformed my gaming stream/setup. The best part of this product i the built-in wavelink software which allows you to control audio volume for seperate audio lines from your game stream to spotify to even your desktop audio. It has completely replaced the hardware needed like GoXLR for me.
