I bought these as replacements for my LG remotes, and they worked right out of the box—no setup or programming needed. That alone made it worth it. All the core functions worked immediately with my LG TV, including power, volume, input, and menu navigation. The layout is very similar to the original remote, so there’s basically no learning curve. Response time is solid and range is good. I don’t have to aim perfectly for it to register, which is nice. Build quality is what you’d expect for a replacement—lightweight plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap. Buttons have a decent click and haven’t had any issues so far. The only thing missing compared to the original is some of the more advanced or smart features, depending on your model, but for everyday use it covers everything most people need. Overall, if you have an LG TV and just need a reliable replacement remote without dealing with setup, this is an easy choice.

This universal remote works perfectly. I’m not a very techie person so I wanted a remote that was easy to use. This is it! Right out of the box it worked with my Samsung TV. No set-up needed. All the streaming buttons (NetFlix, Hulu, Prime Video) all go right to the service with no set up needed. It has DisneyPlus button as well, but I don’t have that streaming service. This is just what I was looking for!

Works well, not exactly like the remote that came with the TV, some buttons are different.

Opened it- all I had was the remote. No instructions on how to match it up with the right TV making sure everything was gonna work so I put batteries in and thought let’s just see what happens. The TV connected, it came on the buttons worked and all I had to do was push the right one no instructions needed. As long as you knew how to run your previous remote you’re good to go. I never write reviews and I always rely on reviews. Definitely definitely a great buy!

No set up, just point and click! The button on our TV busted, wasn’t sure how to fix it, this worked perfect for our tv. Looks stylish too, not clunky.

So far, so good. Bought my 70" UHDHDR 4k tv during Covid. Open box return, missing stands/feet and the remote. Local Best Buy had an Insignia brand remote, which I used for several years, but the batteries would barely last 3 weeks. This replacement is much simpler in design and functionality and appears to have much faster response from the television. Got here in less than 12 hours from time of order.

Bought two of these controllers for our Samsung Frame as the kids had destroyed the original that came with the TV. I much prefer these ones, they feel sturdier and do the job well. They can be a little unresponsive at times and as others say you need to be pointing them directly at the tv to work, but this is a minor inconvenience and for the low price easy to accept. I intend to buy again once the kids destroy these.
