Has anybody tried using this case while riding a bicycle, and if so does it work well in this capacity?

It depends. I am 6 feet tall and can use it while riding my bike unless I have something else strapped to the rack over the rear tire. It seems to ride a little lower on my body than my case with backpack straps already attached.
