Fits very small . My 16 month Who is in the 85th percentile for her weight and height found this was already quite tight. By the time Halloween was here and putting warm clothes underneath there is no way this would fit. Had to return.

Our daughter loves Elmo and thus was Elmo for Halloween. This costume, though not as cute as the dress costume in my opinion (but Dorothy the fish is on that skirt, not Elmo? Weird.), is legitimately Elmo- looking and isn’t that what a kiddo wants? A whole body furry suit. Loses some points for being not soft inside- not terribly scratchy but so-so. The hat may have to be converted to a fleece lined hat for the winter, as it’s the only one out kiddo will keep on her head! We will use the costume for playtime until she grows out of it. Loses some points for not being machine washable- but we did, on delicate, and hung to dry, and it survived fine. I would say runs a little small but not terrible. FYI it’s open footed but there are plenty of adorable Elmo socks, shoes and boots on Amazon :)

Got this for Halloween for our almost 2 year old son who loves Elmo. He absolutely loves this costume and didnt want to take it off. Fit him well and seems well made. Would recommend!
