How well does it work on roaches and waterbugs?

It is not good at all. If you spray it directly to the roach, it works but that's it. If you are trying to destroy the nest, or hoping the roaches will die where you have sprayed, it won't work. They just walk around where you sprayed. I will have to find something better than this that really kill roaches not necessarily directly.

Does the gallon have a sprayer ?

It does have a sprayer that has two adjustments, a fine spray and a straight spray. It actually has a decent range.

Yes, gnats are a listed controlled insect.

Has anyone heard of "foreign grain beetles"? Can this product kill these??

This product will kill pantry pests like grain beetles.
