it does a very good job. I record my audio using Audacity which ...
I purchased this microphone to use for my youtube channel I recently created. I do not use it for anything crazy, no singing or recording music, for example. I simply use this mic to record me talking for my videos. This is a very inexpensive microphone that comes with a pop filter and stand. Its sole use is as a USB microphone as far as I can tell. In my opinion, it does a very good job. I record my audio using Audacity which I like a lot. I usually only add bass to my audio after recording which is standard for most audio. The sound is really clear and sounds natural, i.e. not compressed or high or low in pitch. It is fairly sensitive but if you have any background noise you can just use the noise reduction feature in Audacity to select the background noise in your audio and then cut out any background sound. I simply leave the mic on my desk a few feet away from me or so. The mic also is made out of metal and feels fairly durable, so I do not think you should have issues with it wearing out. Again, all in all I think this is a very good basic and inexpensive USB microphone and I would highly recommend it. In the picture attached, I included everything you will get. The microphone with stand and the pop filter which i have attached. For some reason the microphone works in audacity but will not engage when i record video on my webcam. I do not know if it engages with skype either, so keep this in mind and hopefully it is just a small problem i need to fix on my end if i wanted to use my mic with those programs. All in all this is a good affordable microphone. I recommend it for people who need to do small audio recordings that sound relatively clean. I think the microphone on your laptop is sufficient though if you are only using it for video or voice chatting. Nonetheless a great find!

Excellent Bang For The Buck USB Microphone For Streaming, Gaming, Podcasting ETC
Being a audiophile, gamer, streamer, podcaster, and product reviewer, sound is everything. Its what can make or break you. I always look for the best options or best bang for the buck, but not sacrificing sound quality, but sometimes you can get lucky and find that diamond in the rough. I have reviewed and used so many brands like Blue, Shure, Audio-Technica, Rhode, and more, so its nice to fine a up and coming brand that can offer a quality product and still keep the cost down. weither you are looking for something for your streaming, podcast or just basic skype calls for your business, this mic offers exceptional quality at a budget price. when first taking it out of the package, I can say that it was well protected with foam surrounding the mic. Being a USB mic it was simple plug and play. Windows recognized it immediately and worked without a hitch. The mic has a solid feel, heavy and built well. Sound pic up was very nice but doesn't offer any pre built noise filters or compression so it does pick up everything. add in a couple free vst plugin filters and you are gold. I have attached a video to this as well with a more in depth review of this mic and demonstrate it in action. I will also have this review up on our YouTube Channel. Good Standard Mic
I had a pretty small budget ($25 and under) for a microphone I could order quickly as the one on my gaming headset stopped working all of a sudden. I ended up purchasing the Fifine USB Plug & Play Microphone. The product comes as described and comes with a pop filter. The stand that comes with it is pretty nice. It's very sturdy and stays in place very well. It's easy to adjust and take the microphone off and put it on. You can't really adjust it higher with the stand but you can adjust the mic to point up and down. You can also take the microphone off and use it on most any type of mic stand. I feel like it's a good size to be able to sit right on your desk in front of you. The only issue is that is HAS to be right in front of you because it does not register my voice from any farther away than a few inches in front of my face. That is the reason for a 4-star rating and not a 5-star rating. Other than that, it's a nice microphone. The input sound is quite clear and easy to understand (if you're close enough to the microphone). And of course, one of the benefits of a USB microphone is the plug and play aspect. It is as simple as that. You can just plug it in and start using it, depending on how your computer detects new hardware. It's a good mic for the money. There are probably better mics out there but this is a good standard mic for doing things like talking on Skype, gaming, or making videos. All of that being said, I will continue using it -- until I find one that can detect my voice better without having to sit inches in front of my face.

Fantastic Quality For Price
This thing is about as close as you'll ever get to studio quality without spending a fortune and a half. The audio quality is fantastic and crisp, and although it may still pick up minor background noise, the quality itself is comparable to that of a studio microphone. It automatically adjusts to the level of noise in the room, and is usable by simply plugging in the USB. I've had it all year, ordered in February. I've knocked this thing over so many times you'd think it'd have broken by now. Nope, nada. No damage, zilch. The absolute worst is the screw slightly loosening up over time, which is an easy fix, and a very minor problem, as all it does is make the microphone's angle change more loosely. Just tighten the screw a bit and it's good as new. TL;DR near-studio audio quality, easy to use, auto-volume adjustment, and quite durable. Edit, 1/30/2022: Still using this baby. Quality is still pretty great overall. I think it might've degraded, like, a smidge?? Like, it's nothing bad, just not quite the crispness I remember when I first got it. But, hell, I recently used it to record vocals for a cover as a personal project, in a CAR, and it was still pretty great audio overall. The tripod broke in the last year or two, sadly, and the usb is getting a bit finnicky with being recognized properly on my computer, but it's been going strong otherwise for the last like.. idek how many years, when did I buy this again?? Like, four, five years now? Give or take. It's a good microphone. Seriously, I'd argue if you bought some proper equipment to go with this, this could be USED as a studio microphone. I don't really often write reviews for things I bought off amazon, but I couldn't not for this. I just skimmed over it going through old orders and decided I'd just touch up on this. If the price is still the same as when I got it, like, ~20-30$, it's a STEAL for the quality. If you need a nice mic, and you're on a budget, unless you're looking for *explicitly high-end professional grade gear*, this is a fantastic mic overall. I would recommend this microphone for basically any use, you wanna video chat with your family/etc and be able to be heard well? Go for it, just.. keep it away from the speakers. (Or just wear headphones.) You an ebic pro gamer? Go for it, this'll make your voice clear as my window. Looking to record audio for narration, singing, voiceovers/acting, etc? This will suffice quite well, even with no additional equipment, though I would suggest getting other equipment. But, on it's own, you can use this for more professional works, just make sure the room is quiet, or if you know how, just edit out background noise. Hell, even just using audacity would cut it for like a fan or something running in the background. Seriously, this microphone is amazing for the price. I can't stress it enough. TL;DR Literally like one of the biggest bangs for your buck you'll find on the internet, you need a mic for LITERALLY ANY REASON? Buy this. It's GREAT for the price.

2 Years later: Great Microphone, Great Value
I have been using this microphone for about 2 years now and decided I needed to review it. To summarize the rest of this review: This microphone is fantastic and I have gotten 2 great years of use out of it so far. If you need a microphone this is the one. I fully recommend this microphone. I have used this microphone for both streaming and Discord, both have fantastic quality while using them. I have no other software or hardware to use along with this and it work perfectly. The sound is crystal clear and the microphone picks up as much as you want it to. In both OBS and Discord I use their noise gate just to block low background noise (a room fan) and this works just fine. I was just looking for a cheap microphone that I could use temporarily, but stumbled upon this wonderful one. It is by far the best purchase I have made for my audio. I have a nice gaming headset and a webcam that I used before this, but in honesty there is no comparison. The difference is night and day. The microphone mic will pick up my voice up to 15 ft away with no noise gate (though it is much quieter). I typically am less than 2 ft away from the microphone when speaking and would say that within 1 ft is optimal. The stand is super convenient and is removable. The mic can angle about 90 degrees in the stand which helps position it close to your mouth (if that is your goal). In the 2 years of use I have only once had to tighten the screw on the side of the stand (and it was just a personal thing honestly). The microphone comes with a foam windscreen that is surprisingly effective. It drastically reduces pops and maintains sound quality. The cord is long enough for anything I have ever used it for. I honestly do not think I will "upgrade" any time soon because this microphone checks all the boxes I need checked: cheap, reliable, good sound quality, convenient, compact, and many others. This microphone is without any doubts the best purchase you could make for your voice recording needs.

amazing value and durability
this could legitimately be the greatest mic of all time. i have had this for 8 years and it has been abused due to moves and the like, and yet i have zero issues. for the money, it cannot be beat. while i don't get compliments on voice quality, i also never get complaints

Good audio for cheap, but poor mount/stand design.
This was just a "pick the best cheapest microphone" purchase for me. When I got it, it was pretty much white-box packaging and everything inside looked good. I went to set it up and the mic was in an upright position and I wanted to pivot it more horizontal like in the image. It would not pivot, due to some kind of ledge in the channel that the mic rests in (where the black mic body meats the silver part). I had to completely unscrew the joint and shove it into place at the angle for it to pivot again. I think if I ever put it back upright it will slip past the ledge and be stuck upright again. Once in an angled position like in the product image (about 30-45 degrees) there is not enough counterweight to keep it balanced over the stand. It will stay standing, but a slight bump tilts it down to the table, so you have to loosen up the mounting thread so it will sit directly over one of the legs. Actual performance: It picks up pretty much everything in the room, so it would never work for a noisy environment. Using it on a conference call, those on the other noticed the difference from my headset mic and said I sounded "video-game clear" and that the device they were using to listen from never sounded better. I have only done some brief voice recording tests in Adobe Soundbooth and it sounds clear and good response. If you need a decent USB mic, the Yeti is better, but at 4-5 times the cost. For my purpose, this serves the purpose but just disappointed with the mount and stand design. Note that I work with voice (speech, not singing) audio editing, but I am not a studio-level audio technician or recording pro.

Quite Impressed!
Really didn't expect much for the price, wanted it for vocal recordings. Unboxed it and noticed that it felt like something, rather than hollow like a had expected, but maybe they put a rock in it, so what about performance? I use Audacity for recording, and it can change the input volume to anything you want. The microphone is really sensitive to quiet sounds, so I have to stop the clock before recording. You can hear every little thing in the background, which is a good thing, that's what it means to be a condenser microphone. So the first recording was a disaster, way too much sound at 50% input, but once I turned it down to 10% it finally made a really good sounding recording. What was I recording? I was recording me singing "When Peace Like a River" at the top of my lungs! I mixed a little trio of the first verse that worked really well considering I didn't really put any time into proper mixing, and was using a cheap microphone. On 5% input I was able to put it inside my piano and improvise as loud as I could comfortably and it didn't mind in the least! Working with the settings on the input in whatever program you are using, it really can make some very nice audio pieces! I have included for your information the recordings I have spoken of, and if the piano sounds out of tune, it's because it is, it is not the microphone distorting it, it actually sounds that way. Neither is my playing all that good lol. Enjoy!

Gran compra.
Recomendado.

Great product for WFH meetings (soundbar + USB mic setup)
I bought this in 2019. I was not able to use it for the originally intended purpose for long before lockdown hit the world in March 2020 and we all switched to WFH. I added a LG soundbar to my WFH setup in early 2021, that is when I switched doing meetings from a wired Logitech headset to a soundbar + mic combo. Freedom from the the headset wires was definitely a bit overrated (I don't move much anyway), but still, it's good to not wear a headset all day for your 7+ hrs meeting marathons. The audio quality of my voice picked up by this mic is very good. My meeting colleagues rate the various microphones I use in this order: 1. Logitech H390 (highest quality) 2. This microphone 3. Oneplus buds Z2 4. Samsung Galaxy buds pro Note that the Logitech H390 headset is an awesome product for meetings (priced around 5K INR), its a USB headset so no noise introduced by loose connections of 3.5mm jacks. The audio from the Logitech H390 mic is crystal clear for the other party (best mic I have ever used for meetings), and speakers are also great, along with a mic mute button in hand. I have used Logitech H390 for 10+ years and I swear by its quality and durability, each unit of my H390 lasting over 3+ years of daily use. Get that blindly if you need a headset for meetings, or if you can't afford to go to a soundbar + USB mic setup. If you want to switch your WFH meetings from a headset to a soundbar + USB mic setup, this mic is a good option for around 3K INR. Go for it!

funcionalidad.
