Outstanding Helmet โ Comfort, Convenience, and Value
I am extremely impressed with the ILM Bluetooth Integrated Modular Flip-Up Full Face Motorcycle Helmet. From the moment I put it on, the helmet felt solid, comfortable, and well-designed. The padding is plush without being overly tight, and it fits securely even on longer rides. The integrated Bluetooth system is a standout feature. Pairing was quick and seamless, audio quality is clear for both music and calls, and the controls are easy to operate even while wearing gloves. Itโs a huge convenience not having to install a separate Bluetooth unit. The flip-up modular design is perfect for everyday riding, especially at stops or when talking without removing the helmet. The built-in sun shield is another excellent featureโsmooth to deploy, effective against glare, and eliminates the need for sunglasses. Ventilation is well thought out, keeping airflow steady without excessive noise. For a helmet at this price point, the build quality, safety features, and technology integration exceed expectations. Overall, this helmet delivers comfort, functionality, and excellent value. I would highly recommend the ILM Bluetooth Modular Helmet to any rider looking for a reliable, feature-rich helmet without breaking the bank.

Excellent helmet, really really vague instructions
The helmet fit, connectivity, and comfort are all excellent. My main gripes are the vents for the chin are too small and the instructions included are so so bad. The vent issue keeps the helmet visor fogging up until I crack open the visor. This could be fixed in future versions of the helmet. The instructions on pairing the helmet for the intercom system are horrible and written in a font so small that mice squint to read them. The instructions do not say that the helmets will lose connection with each other once the helmet is turned off, requiring repairing and clearing the previous intercom pairing. That said, the FM radio is good. Voice commands from Google assistant and Alexa work when set up. The phone controls for music are also good, however I have to control volume for that function on my phone. The helmet causes the music to skip to the next song or repeat the last song played. Phone conversations are loud enough to be heard even with earplugs and the quality is acceptable. Overall, I like this helmet for the price. My Sena helmets are awesome too, but cost twice as much for what I feel is the same featured helmet. Solid buy.

Helmet is great, bluetooth is 50/50
I ordered the XXL, my head is 24" and the fit is fantastic. The 3/4 flip up is great, visor and sun shades great. The vents re decent though the once near the mouth should be bigger to prevent fog when stopped. The helmet is pretty heavy but not too bad. I'm also an XXL so that prob has a factor in the weight. When helmet arrived it was just the bare hemet in a big box with packing paper around it. The bluetooth battery/module was missing as well as the carrying bag. Called amazon and a week later I got a brand new one packed in a branded box with bag and bluetooth battery. I think the one I was sent originally was a return. The helmet is great but the bluetooth is 50/50. The speakers are pretty loud but have zero bass and sound like the treble is turned all the way up. You can't skip songs either which is really annoying. The wheel for the controls can be spun a bit in either direction and you can press the wheel in as well. Pressing the wheel in switches between modes (Bluetooth, Intercom, FM Radio) When you press that button the bluetooth music gets really staticy/laggy it's terrible. The only way I've found to get it back to normal is by turning it off and on again. The FM radio sounds decent. Can't comment on the intercom as I've never used it and don't plan too. I think the worst part about the bluetooth (aside from not being able to skip songs) is if you get a call and don't answer it'll auto answer after 15 seconds. People on the phone say they can hear me decently enough at around 35mph. I'm prob gonna keep the helmet but I'll still look for one with better bluetooth better speakers.

and I am glad I did
I am pumped about this helmet, just got back from a 200 mile ride through the Hill Country and decided to review this purchase while it was fresh on my mind. This is my first Modular Helmet that I have owned, so my review will be based on this experience only. I done a ton of research before buying this product. I knew I wanted a Modular helmet, I've always been partial to half helmets or no helmet at all, but with further rides, living closer to the city, and riding in the Hill Country, I wanted more protection as well as bluetooth for GPS purposes. I will definitely buy another helmet for my wife and kids to wear when we ride 2 up !!! Sizing - I wear a 7 1/4 Fitted Cap, Measurement of head is 22 3/4 inches. By the Helmet sizing guideline provided online, I should have went with a Large, but after reading other reviews I decided to go with the XL, and I am glad I did. The Helmet fits perfect, not so tight that I am uncomfortable, but snug enough to feel secure and safe. The very top of the helmet does not have a lot of cushioning and you can feel it Looks and user friendliness. - I went with Matte Black, looks great no scratches. the bluetooth and sun shades switch is easily found with gloves on and moves smoothly. The tabs for ventilation are a little more difficult to locate with gloves on, and I could tell no difference in circulation closed or open (might make it a hot helmet during the summer) The quick release works great and is easy to unfasten the helmet. Visors - both visors come with a protective cover and were spotless, no scratches. The flip down sun shades are not very dark, and they will fog up if you breath heavy upwards, but that is expected. THe fog went away very fast with flipping up the outside shade a notch. My sun shade slides down effortlessly and goes all the way back inside the helmet when I don't need it any longer. Bluetooth - As stated in other reviews the speakers do not have much bass, but as far as clarity and loudness, I found that I had no problem hearing music or GPS running 75 MPH, and I didn't have the volume all the way up. I had my wife call me to try out the mic. I could hear her great, but she said I sounded muffled, but she said she could hear me and understood everything I said. (only going 35 mph, did not test it going faster) Weight - I don't have any complaints on the weight, it did not distract me while riding. It is heavier than what I am used to, but overall I expected expected the weight with a full face/modular helmet. Noise - I am actually impressed with the amount of wind noise. I couldn't believe how quiet this helmet was at 75mph today. No problems if I looked either direction, or up and down, it was quiet. Granted, I am accustomed to nothing over my ears when I ride, so I couldn't believe the peace I had while riding today. Cons - The two outside tabs that attach the wind protector to your helmet under your chin do not stay attached. when you pull the modular jaw down you will have to re-insert these two tabs. Not a big issue, but it is something that I will have to deal with everytime I wear this helmet. The charging port for the Bluetooth battery cover is very flimsy, the rubber stob that it used to pull it open ripped off on the very first attempt.

Good helmet. Okay audio
Good helmet but the size feels a little small. Bought the one that matches my hat size and the integrated shades hit my nose just a bit. I'll probably end up trimming the bridge to open it up a little for some better clearance. Can hear pretty well but not a lot of wind noise which is great. As far as helmets are concerned, this one seems pretty good. Bluetooth works pretty well and is fairly straightforward. Voice for feedback telling you which mode the helmet is in etc is the same cheap voice in some other chinese products I've bought. Audio quality is not great. Listen to music while riding and there is no low end to the audio range. Speakers are apparently incapable of bass in any form. Volume controls are reversed from what I would instinctively assume they are, casing some confusion if you aren't conscious of it. With the helmet on, intuitively you would turn the knob forward (counter-clockwise) to turn up the volume and to your rear (clockwise) to turn it down, but this is reversed. Will be taking a road trip with it soon so I will update this review when I get back. Initial thoughts are buy something else with better audio quality. The worst earbuds I own have better audio than this helmet and it isn't even close. Either buy something with better audio or a plain helmet without it.

Intercom is Terrible
Do not buy this helmet. It will only cause you headaches. If you did buy this helmet, you need to be aware of these steps for intercom. The website or manual will not tell you this. Intercom Guide for Two Helmets 1. put the two helmets side by side. Hold down the button for 10s until the lights flash red and blue. 2. after they are both flashing red and blue hold down the button of one helmet and turn the dial clockwise until the voice says that they are connected. (Optional 3.) If the press and turn of step two doesn't immediately work, press and turn counter clockwise to enter compatibility mode. Once it's announced the mode verbally, immediately press and turn clockwise as stated in step 2. My helmet connects with the other almost immediately after that. If you bought this for the 2+ functionality, god be with you.

Good helmet for the price point.
I paid abut 220 bucks for this helmet when purchased and waited 2 months to write this. I use this helmet to commute to work and don't go on highways much. The helmet is a little noisy at high speed around 55 mph it makes music hard to hear well but calls come in clear as a bell. This isn't a deal breaker because my average commute speed is 45 mph. The helmet feels well built and safe. The sun shade is a little stiff but I'd rather it be stiff than fall in my face so that's fine as well. The chin strap is not a double d ring and it is very easy to manage with gloves on. If you have a large chin this helmet is not for you as the fit is very tight. You can adjust the air flow which is nice in the summer to keep cool and keeps you warmer in the winter. I suggest a full face mask for under this.

Love the helmet
I swore I would never own a full-face motorcycle helmet - too claustrophobic. Therefore, being my first one, there was a learning curve. I had to learn to put up the bottom piece to take off or put it on. I never thought I had a big chin but, my chin is pushed up against the helmet when locked in. I bought it one size bigger than I normally wear in my half helmets. I love the stereo. I saw complaints it has to much treble and not enough bass. Well, that is so you can hear it. It is the same reason as in fighter jets they use women's voices and not men's voices. The higher pitch is easier to hear. I heard complaints it was not loud enough. Really, it is so loud my ears ring afterwards. But then again, I don't ride a Harley with the tailpipes removed. When I received the helmet, I discovered the wall plug in was not in the accessory box. I contacted the manufacturer via email, and they quickly sent me a wall plug to charge the blue tooth. Thank you very much for that! It was greatly appreciated. All in all, I have come to love the helmet. Highly recommend it. (I did drop the helmet and scratched the clear visor. Waiting until they have the anti-fog visors back in stock before I replace the one I scratched dropping it on asphalt.

Entertainment
Everything was going fine until I got pulled over by the cops, apparently, these helmets aren't considered approved for wearing here in Australia, it was lucky that I had my open-faced helmet with me.

Best purchase i've made for my bike.
This is absolutely the best purchase I've made for my biking adventures. My head is 60cm round, so i got an XL. First time putting the helmet on it seemed very tight, but over the next couple weeks it's starting to conform to my head and doesn't feel overly tight any longer. I LOVE the BT connectivity to be able to listen to Spotify while riding, or take that important call. The integrated sun visor is a great feature to have, no more changing out the front shield if it's sunny, dark, just flip the control on the left side. It definitely comes down nice and low as well, it actually touches my nose, but you can fine adjust the helmet on your head so it's not an annoyance. The integrated chin curtain is a very welcome standard option! Now for the reasons it gets 4, and not 5 stars. The venting leaves a bit to be desired. The top head vents: right side works awesome, the left side i don't feel at all. I did notice that the inside cushioning (tags) block the left rear hole. And the left front hole is not cut in the same place as the right side so it's sort of blocked by cushioning as well. The chin vent I can't even tell any different if it's open or closed. I get the same amount of visor fogging with it open or closed. While being able to open the modular front 1/4 is awesome, it's not exactly seamless when closing it. You do have to secure or hold the rest of the helmet when you close it back down, maybe i'm just being picky with that but it would be nice to be able to close it one handed. Overall the bang for the buck with this helmet is awesome! It's got the features of a $700-900 helmet for a fraction of the price.

Great purchase
Used measurenent chart and ordered medium and fits well(snug). Tinted visor is great, no switching out glasses at dawn or dusk. Light and comfortable. Have driven from 7C to 27C mostly high way driving 100 to 130Km/hr . I will not be purchasing anti fog lense, crack open when starting and stopping. Great that helmet opens up so you can have a drink or stopped to gas up on warm days . Mechanisms seem to work well and love the ratcheting chin strap. I have a 2004 honda shadow aero(noting for muffler sound) and I have no issues with bluetooth sound being to low on the highway. I never turn all the way up and I am an older guy with not the best hearing. As stated on other reviews not bose quality but i am happy with it. ******************** This is an up date. I have had helmet 5 months. Thousands of km driven and really like this helmet. 5deg C to 31 deg C
