Good sound quality - soundstage, instrument separation and bass, however, treble is too much that it will cause ear strain. You can remedy it with EQ, but do more research if this is the headphone for you or if you might be better of with another model or brand. Im keeping it as I primarily use this for my classical music FLAC collection and rock/alterntive playlist and xbox gaming (warzone)

This is impressive low-impedance version of the well-known 990 open back. It is not only a good choice for professional producers, but also for amateur musicians and content creators, such as podcasters and streamers, who use audio interfaces with rather low-voltage headphone preamps. My only complaint is that the headband adjustment is somehow stiff. I am happy with my purchase.

I got this for gaming and i didnt even need an Its so comfortable, i used it for an average of 8 hrs a day for a week and never felt any discomfort. would recommend 10/10.

You gave me the wrong link to leave my feedback about the packaging. This was part of your email you sent. And I quote. " Feedback on the seller or your shipment experience should be provided at www.amazon.co.uk/feedback." These headphones were shipped from US not UK. The seller was Amazon US, not a third party. And when I opened that link there was no item I could leave my feedback. Thankfully, the headphones are just fine and working properly even if It was not properly boxed. The velours on the earcups are so comfortable around my ears. It doesn't hurt my jaws and around my ears even after wearing it for hours! Unlike my previous headphones. It has a wide soundstage perhaps because it's open back and sounds even better with my DAC/amp. I'd definitely recommend these headphones to my peers and family. I've never been this happy with my choice!

Ive been in producing for music for years, this headphones is extremely comfortable and the sound doesnt leak to the microphone, 10/10 i got this already but i wanted the black edition so i got it it came without curly cables which is amazing, however there is a limit to the volume level which is fine but just a warning, audio technica is louder but this is way better quality and comfort. HIGHLY recommend this

Hello, I bought the Dt-990 pro following the death of my sennheiser momentum. After a few days a of intense testing, I can definitely confirm that the Dt-990 pro (as well as it’s brother the 770 pro) is one if not the best semi to professional headphones on the market right now, unbeatable in terms of quality price. The fact that he is good in almost every tasks makes it an even stronger contender, audiophiles? Casual listeners? Gamers? It pretty much answers to all of them. The sound is vivid, clear and I find it very developed on the entire range of frequencies, you can definitely feel a strong harmony between highs and lows which makes the sounds uniform and rather leans towards neutrality (with maybe a few warm touches but it doesn’t affect significantly) (which is absolutely unheard of at this price point !). The headset is open which makes it not suitable for noisy environments like everyday travels, as the the soundproofing is almost nonexistent (in this case, the dt-770 which is closed makes more sense) however, it does the job very well in a quiet or calm place and even gives it an advantage over his closed brother : the spacial sound, which is way better and have much more of an impact on your listening. In overall, amazing headphones, would recommend without hesitation over similar price point items such as sennheiser hd560s for example.

... if you do have long or thick hair, the comfort strap at the top might be a bit uncomfortable to wear for a long duration of time. Otherwise they sound great and they are built well, I game with these things, and let me be the first to tell you.. they've survived being knocked against the table, thrown across the room and being sat on my myself, so yes, they are built well. Bewusst 80 Ohm genommen. Sind am Elgato XLR angeschlossen, das Teil könnte niemals 250 Ohm befeuern. Mal zum Testen an den PC angeschlossen, Lautstärker reicht immer noch völlig aus, aber schon etwas leiser. Wenn ich die Kopfhörer an meine Logitech-Lautsprecher anschließe (welche ebenfalls einen Kopfhöreranschluss haben) höre ich fast gar nichts mehr. Es gilt also die altbewährte Weisheit: Man muss sich im Klaren sein, wie viel Ohm man befeuern kann, und entsprechend hier einkaufen. Für mich, als Bass-Head, ist der Bass sehr mager. Das ist wohl die Qual der Wahl. Ich habe sonst immer AirPods Max verwendet, geschlossene Kopfhörer mit super Sound, aber auch einer Menge hochgedrehten Bass, damit's einfach ballert. Das fehlt mir hier zwar, aber das ist eigentlich auch eher weniger Sinn des Produkts, sondern vernünftiger Sound für Referenz-Zwecke. Bei allen Tracks, die nicht sonderlich auf Bass aufbauen, kommen die Kopfhörer so richtig zur Geltung. Meiner Freundin z.B. fehlt der Bass fast gar nicht, ist also eine sehr subjektive Geschichte. Produkt wirkt insgesamt sehr wertig. Sehr langes Kabel, solide Qualität, kann man echt nicht meckern. Bin trotz der genannten "Schwachstellen" sehr zufrieden, aber man muss sich einfach im Klaren sein, was man hier kauft.

Top Kopfhörer, wir zum mixing zu Hause verwendet. Sicher nichts für einen Club, da offenes Design. Gute Klangqualität, auch feine Nuancen lassen sich gut raushören. Tragekomfort für mich super, aber das empfinde ich immer als sehr subjektiv, da jeder Mensch eben andere Ohren und Kopfform hat. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich keine Aussage treffen bislang.
