The story of how this probiotic helped me recover from a significant health issue is rather lengthy. So, for those who don't have the time or are not interested in the specifics... This is a great product that provides real benefits for digestive/immune health. Also, I would strongly encourage everybody to take this during/following a course of antibiotics. I have been taking Hyperbiotics PRO-15 daily for over a year and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Now here is the full story for the benefit of anyone who may be experiencing a similar problem or is just curious... A little over a year ago I was given a prescription for the antibiotic Azithromycin (Zithromax 5-day dose Z-Pak) to combat an upper respiratory infection. Although I had never taken Azithromycin, I have taken other antibiotics before without incident (primarily Doxycycline during my time deployed overseas in the military). Nonetheless, after taking the Azithromycin for a couple of days, I began to experience upset stomach and diarrhea. My doctor said these were normal side-effects and recommended completing the course of antibiotics if possible. Within the next 24-48 hours, I began to experience more severe stomach cramping, diarrhea, and blood in my stool. At this point, my doctor advised me to stop taking the Azithromycin, eat some yogurt, and let them know if the upper respiratory infection came back. Just like everybody else, I've had an upset stomach and diarrhea before and figured it would resolve itself in a day or two after I stopped taking the antibiotics... but it didn't.... in fact, it got worse. A week later I was having to make 10-20 urgent trips to the restroom throughout the day and night. The blood in my stool had increased to an alarming point and I was still experiencing intense stomach cramps. I felt weak and didn't have a normal appetite. Flash-forward to a month later, after seeing two different doctors and a visit to the emergency room, I am still experiencing the stomach cramps/diarrhea/blood in stool and have lost 20+ pounds. It was like living a bad dream and proved to be very disruptive to both my professional and family life. All of the medical labs/tests/scans came back negative for common causes of these symptoms, none of the doctors could provide a definitive diagnosis or solution, but suggested that it could be Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Ulcerative Colitis (UC), or Crohn's Disease. Out of desperation, looking for anything that might help, I tried several different brands of probiotics from the local grocery/pharmacy, tried taking aloe and flaxseed oil, adjusted my diet, and scoured the internet for other remedies... all to no avail... until one night I happened upon a blog written by a person in Australia who had been experiencing nearly identical symptoms after taking Azithromycin... and had managed to fix his problem with certain types of probiotics. Unfortunately, none of the probiotic brands he listed were available in the United States. Thankfully, however, he also listed the 12 specific probiotic strains and CFU count in each of the probiotics he had taken. So, I set out to find a probiotic available in the US that contained all of those beneficial bacteria strains. Everything I could find at the local grocery/pharmacy only had a few different types of probiotic bacteria. Then I found Hyperbiotics PRO-15 on Amazon and it contained every probiotic strain that he had listed. It almost seemed too simple and like a bit of a long shot, but I was hurting and had nothing to lose by trying these. I started taking 3 Hyperbiotics PRO-15 a day (breakfast/lunch/dinner) along with the "BRAT diet" (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) that I had been attempting to subsist on up to that point. I started noticing a slight improvement in my symptoms after a couple days, a few less trips to the restroom and not quite as much blood in my stool. I was cautiously optimistic and continued the regimen. Things continued getting progressively better and after 2 weeks of the Hyperbiotics PRO-15 I was down to 3 bowel movements a day and no longer had any visible blood in my stool. Within a month of taking the Hyperbiotics I was totally back to normal. I tapered down to one PRO-15 a day and resumed eating a regular diet. It is now a year later and I still take one PRO-15 a day for general digestive/immune health. In addition to improving/maintaining my digestive health, I have noticed a real difference in my immune system. Even though I've been exposed to people with cold/flu, I haven't actually contracted the flu or a cold in the last 12 months that I've been taking Hyperbiotics. Compared to previous years that is unusual for me, I can't actually remember the last year that I didn't at least get a cold. Probiotics weren't really on my radar prior to all of this happening, but I'm completely sold on their effectiveness and necessity. It's not something I had given much thought to previously, but the need for probiotics became apparent to me the more I thought about it. Taking antibiotics kills all the bacteria in your gut (good and bad)... it's like spraying Roundup all over your lawn, it kills the weeds and grass. If you don't plant grass seed after killing your lawn, it will become overrun with weeds. On the other hand, if your lawn and is full of perfectly healthy grass, it will be difficult for any undesirable weeds to take hold. Maybe that's an over-simplified analogy, but bad things start to happen without the right beneficial probiotic bacteria in your system. Not only does the right bacteria help to digest food, it's holding the space and helping prevent other harmful bacteria from having a place to setup shop and make you sick. I hope that nobody out there has to experience what I went through, but I wanted to pass along my experience in the hopes that it may help somebody else. Even if you're not experiencing what I described, taking Hyperbiotics PRO-15 (or some other comparable product) regularly will probably prevent it from ever happening in the first place. None of the doctors I went to prescribed a probiotic, but I probably could have avoided this entire episode if they had. Bottom line, this is the real deal... it works and I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation!!!

I am not "educated" about pro-biotics - but I know what I have been through. So this will be a testimonial to this Pro-15 pro-biotics given in the context of my personal experience. I have been dealing with effects of tricothecine poisoning (from long term exposure to black mold) for almost five years. I was correctly diagnosed two and a half years ago (with many "interesting" and "creative" diagnoses along the way). Without going into detail - let me say that I had horrible, horrible indigestion to include all of the symptoms so many others here have mentioned. Six weeks ago, I saw a doctor who believes that "all problems start with the gut" (Including the symptoms from mold poisoning. Imagine that!). Of course his Food Coach recommended probiotics and soon after finding the RIGHT probiotics (Pro-15) ALL of my problems dissipated. Not right away though. It took about 3-4 weeks and about 4 pills a day but today, as I write this, I can say that I feel better in my digestion than I have felt in 5 years. An incredible side effect of taking Pro-15 is that as it began to "clear out my gut" my back and leg pain went away! Yep. No lie. My sick gut caused me intractible, chronic back and leg pain to the extent I thought I was going to have to walk with a cane. I did have a terrible set back early on that I want to mention. Because I did not know exactly which pro-biotic to take, I simply came to Amazon and ordered a "Best Selling" product, "Digestive Advantage." Thinking that all probiotics are made the same, I am sad to say that it was not until I got sicker and sicker and sicker with more and more pain that I decided to READ THE INGREDIENTS. Amazingly, several of the ingredients in "Digestive Advantage" were from "Aspergillus." Not good for a person like me already suffering from mold poisoning. So, Pro-15 had to not only help me with my old sick gut - but it had to fight against the my newly sickened gut from the aspergillus I had taken in "Digestive Advantage." Along the way, I had e-mail conversations with the supplier of Pro-15 who helped me enormously. Being a pro-biotic virgin (if I may) I had lots of questions pertaining to the fact that I take loads of charcoal on a daily basis (to "suck up" the tricothecine), etc. etc. I had fast, prompt and extremly informative responses from the Pro-15 representative which only served to enhance my appreciation for the quality of Pro-15. So as not to have to take 4 pills a day (that being said, they are little round pills, a lot like the little black ones that most Chinese Medicine pills look like and they are very easy to swallow) I am next going to order the Advanced/extra strength pills. Finally, I also want to add that I would never have found Pro-15 in the first place were it not for all the extremely helpful reviews on this cite. Thank you all for your thoughtful and informed comments. For the first time since I have been fighting this poisoning I feel like I am winning the battle. No yucky acid reflux. No waking up at night with a hard as rock stomach. No horrible (ending up in the E/R) pain in the gut. No cramps and spasms in the lower back and legs (for which I was told I needed back surgery). No episodes of chest tightness/shortness of breath/weakness in the arms (yes, indigestion can mimic a heart attack), No being able to stand up straight because your gut feel like it is tied in knots. etc. etc. etc. You know the drill. Thank you all again and thank you Pro-15 for your wonderful product. (Given all the charcoal/etc. pills I take to inhibit the mold poisoning - I am eternally grateful for the time release aspect of your little wonder pills!) BTW, I am a 72 year old woman. Never too late to clear out your gut with Pro-15!!! If you are this far into my post I want to thank you for taking the time to read the entire thing! I hope it has been of help to you. (All of that being said, please do not contact me personally by e-mail or by any other media to ask me about this product. I have said everything I know about it here. I also can't help you with a diagnosis of mold poisoning. There are doctors who do that---in fact you can find them on Google. I apologize for sounding rude, as I sound rude even to me, but I really can't answer questions about mold poisoning. I thought about deleting this review until I saw how many people had seen it and realized that it has probably been helpful --- so I am leaving it up and thanking you in advance for respecting my privacy.)

Hi all, I am worried that it might be premature to mention its effectiveness but I cannot wait to write a review. This is marvelous. It changed a lot about me. I think its power is so marvelous and it might be threatening for current medical industry and I am so worried that they will going to lobby to hinder the sale of this and/or they will try to mislead general public by downplaying the effect of the probiotics. Maybe they are not aware of the effect of the balance of good and bad bacteria. I will start how I came to decide to buy this product. I have had a chronic bad breath. It has gotten worse and worse as time goes by. I took oriental medications that caused me pay $4000 so far, I bought a Therabreath and brushed my tongue heavily and went to ENT to cure my post-nasal drip so intook pills and washed my nose by salt water and visited numerous dentists sevearal times, including most recent visit to one of the most famous dentist in the halitosis area, who claimed me that he could cure me with just two visits if I pay near $3000 in advance. However, my creditcard did not work at the moment so I had to leave his office first to get my checkbook. What he did was, at the first visit, to sample from my teeth or near somewhere and showed me the live microscope picture where there were tons of bacteria that were swarming in my mouth. Also he confirmed that my halitosis smells like a rotten meat. I realized that my breath was that bad and that's why I lost so many chances such as dates, interviews, or minglings, due to my bad breath. At the same time, I clearly knew that the problem was not from my stomach but those germs he claims I have the top 1% level of density of fauna of bad bacteria that generates those rotten smell that generates those sulfur compounds. Surely, there have been methods to kill those germs but with sideeffects or transient effect - mouthwash with alcohol, or without alcohol, or Thetabreath that tries to kill those harmful bacteria and attach some good substances to foster the growth of good bacteria that thwarts the growth of evil bacteria. However, due to the numerous intakes or syringes of antibiotics from my childhood, it was evident the natural biotics seemed all been disapeared from my body, making the application of the Thetabreath futile. So I searched the web and I found the article mentioning recent research about the effect of a biotic thread that reduced halitosis. I searched for the product that contains that thread and I have found this product is the one. According to the review, I have found there are LOTs of people like me who have suffered from post-nasal drip and unbalancedness or disruption of the fauna in the body. So I decided to try this, and it worked within just a week. I will keep intaking this as I am not sure my body would have such an ability to foster to reproduce those good biotics. If I could, I would like to buy their shares. This business should prosper. I hope this guy could provide such a good things in a reasonable price that I, and people like you, could have. The last point is very important as the imbalance of those fauna can be caused by poverty. Why is it so? When I was a young boy, I had lived in a half-basement for 8 years, as this only was the kinds of housing that my poor and uneducated parent with no good and stable job afford. The problem is that there were a lot of fungus and humidity there; you know, it was a basement. Combined with my malnutrition and my narrower-than-average and not so pretty nasal cavities, which is the fact that I quite recently knew by taking a CT, I suffered from allergic rhinitis. In the course of treating the symptom, I had a lot of antibiotics. Maybe from the moment, I remember my mom told me at the subway sitting next to me, "Why you have a bad breath?" I was embarrassed but I didn't know why it was so. However, there was no such a thing like a probiotics or the knowledge of the fauna balance. Just killing germs means that wiping out good germs. Now I am regaining the balance. Anyhow, I am grateful to have this and will have this every day. Thank you guys for making this and I feel much better. This is the most natural way of curing one ailing person. If you are the one like me, you are in the right page. Try this.

I took hyper biotics to try to clear my adult acne-- no effect on my skin, but I still think it's a good product. When my current probiotic runs out I will probably try this again. The pills are super easy to take. As someone dealing with adult acne for the last two years, I was desperate for something to help my skin! I've tried countless creams, serums, peels, masks, washes, sprays, essential oils, etc until my wallet cried.. and NONE of them helped! My skin was horrible, inflamed, utterly embarrassing as a working adult, and painful to boot. (The kicker was many days it hurt to smile! If you've been there you know how discouraging this is!) My skin was so terrible a coworker anonymously left proactive on my desk at work (the turd!!). After countless wasted dollars and months of frustration I've FINALLY got my skin under control and milk thistle was a huge part of that. I'm sharing what has worked for me in hopes of helping other people who H A T E their skin. -Topically, I ONLY use Niacinamide Vitamin B3 Cream Serum 5% by Skin Daily. No washing, no scrubs, no masks-- pretty much caveman status. A drop goes a long way so the bottle will last a while. I'm never oily when using this unlike a lot of other products I tried. It's really improved the texture of my skin, smoothing and plumping (is that a thing?). I think it has also helped with some of the hyper pigmentation as well. The only other topicals I like as much are aztec/cider vinegar face mask and honey/cinnamon/nutmeg mask. I used to do one of those masks EVERY DAY in hopes of a miracle for my skin :( but now I don't need them. Unfortunately it is a little pricey but if you're like me you'll pay whatever it takes (well, maybe not a yacht) to have clear skin. -Internally: Every day I take gaia milk thistle (to fight inflammation---game changer!x3), nature' way alive! women's multi (warning it tastes super nasty but is bearable with fruit juice x3), align probiotic (x1), and naturemade fish oil pills (x3). Nothing helped me clear up like taking these supplements! I would say I am 95% clear on them and improving. Before these I cut out bread, potatoes, pasta, chocolate, dairy, and most other glorious foods in hopes of helping my body to no avail! I tried vitex/chasteberry, inositol powder, fermented cod liver oil in cinnamon tingle (still puking), synthetic vit e, maca root, hyper biotics, opti-women, turmeric, and countless more with little to no success. These days I am still conscientious about what I eat but not militant about food like I was when my skin was so horrible. Sugar and caffeine make me more inflamed so I do moderate my intake of those. If you can do nothing else I would recommend the gaia milk thistle. (Amazon has the best price I have found-but if you're desperate Whole Foods has it for like $40). Anyone with serious acne has an inflammation problem that they may nor even know about, and the milk thistle was huge in getting that under control for me- my skin was WAY less red and inflamed within days of starting it. I hope this helps anyone with skin issues looking for an alternative to meds or BC or SA/BP for managing their skin issues :) Best of luck getting clear!

These Hyperbiotics PRO-15 probiotics are the best I have ever had - that's why they call them the "perfect probiotic". When I first got them it was important to me to get strong, high quality enteric coated or time release probiotic capsules or "pearls" with a large number of probiotic strains, and over a billion cfu.. I did some research on Amazon, and found these, in the regular strength, which are the PRO-15 5 billion cfu "pearls". I suspected I was having some serious GI problems, like the onset of intestinal hyperpermeability, or "leaky gut", so when I got them I tried as suggested on the bottle for serious conditions to take one three times a day, instead of the normal one a day, and I really noticed a difference. I know they made a huge difference quickly as my acid reflux mostly went away and my intenstinal permeability was already beginning to improve even though that was the only change I had made so far. I was still far from normal and a long ways from healthy, but I could really feel a difference just from the PRO-15 "pearl" probiotics.. After a month, I tried to go down to taking them once a day, along with adding some good broad spectrum digestive enzymes (I used Doctor's Best) after every meal, and a soluble fiber supplement similar to Citrucel. I believe that good strong probiotics are the essential backbone to the treatment of any mild to severe GI problems, and when I reduced the dose to one a day, I felt I didn't have enough support, so I researched and purchased the Hyperbiotics PRO-15 Advanced Strength, which are time-released tablets with 15 billion cfu, three times stronger but less expensive than three pearls daily. I have since been taking one of those a day, and they are incredible, they feel much more than three times stronger to me, and I have never felt the need for more than one a day. I know that most people probably just need the "perfect probiotic" regular strength pearls, but for me, the Advanced strength tablets have been the right answer (some people rarely even report.the Advanced to be too strong for them, giving them diarrhea) Next, I believe that good broad spectrum digestive enzymes are the second most important thing in the treatment of any mild to severe GI disorder, especially since most cause maldigestion and malabsorption, such that even a healthy diet is going to end up providing you with less than optimal nutrition. These two things, in fact, good strong high quality probiotics and good broad spectrum digestive enzymes, may provide relief from many mild digestive problems alone, but even some with mild problems, and most people with moderate to severe GI disease are not that lucky. This is not cause to stop using them, but to add in some more specific symptomatic therapies in the form of additional supplements. Even seemingly perfectly healthy people benefit from good probiotics, and even digestive enzymes, in ways that may not be immediately noticeable, so don't give them up just because you don't feel earth shattering changes right away. In my fairly severe case, I started out on prilosec for the acid reflux, but I used D-limonene (Jarrow) once daily to allow me to taper off the prilosec completely. I have also added Betaine Hcl with pepsin (NOW), after every meal, to correct low stomach acid, another common cause of acid reflux (Google GERD and low stomach acid - it's fascinating and counterintuitive), and Gluten Digest enzymes (NOW), after every meal, in case I am developing new dietary sensitivities due to the "leaky gut". Then I added licorice root (Nature's Way), aloe vera soft gels (NOW), and slippery elm (NOW), all for their soothing and healing qualities to the gut, and all of them help with acid reflux also. Finally, there is a supplement L-glutamine (Jarrow), which I take 2 tablets three times daily, which helps directly with intestinal hyperpermeability by being directly absorbed by the enterocytes and used as fuel to heal the tight junctions that stop the "leakyness". The L-glutamine is the other thing which I noticed a dramatic difference after starting, because I could see I was starting to absorb my nutrients and supplements better already. I am aware that my situation is one of the more severe, but I have listed everything I have done in case it helps someone else. Almost everything I mentioned could help anyone with mild to severe GI problems, in varying combinations. The important thing to me is that I was aware of very few symptoms until I started treating myself under my holistic doctor's direction, so you might be surprised what is going on under the surface. I am still on this entire regimen, including the Advanced Strength PRO-15 tablets and the digestive enzymes, and I expect to be for some time, many months to heal "leaky gut". The important thing to state in summary is that even once I get myself "well" I will never stop taking these probiotics, either the regular or advanced strength. They are clearly high quality, and the company stands behind the products 100% - if you ever have a problem just contact them and they will make it right. I am a customer for life, and I will reorder and take the Advanced PRO-15 for the long term. I highly recommend start with the regular PRO-15 "pearls", as those are right for most people, but I also highly recommend both products, whichever you believe is right for you.
