How do you sharpen this?

It’s takes a little larger than average manual sharpener. I found a great, inexpensive manual sharpener at Sally Beauty supply that I’ve used for years to sharpen these brightener pencils. Or, you can buy one off Amazon....the metal ones work best. Trish’s sharpener is way too expensive.

Has anyone successfully used this on the lower waterline?

I have not used it on the lower waterling, but I find this product to cake up, you must use very little and then smooth it out
