Can I grill over an open fire?

We do not recommend grilling over open fire with MEATER Block. With higher ambient temperature limits (1000°F) MEATER Pro and MEATER Pro XL can be used for grilling over open fire.

How far can my phone get from my MEATER Block?

Using WiFi Mode, your phone can be monitoring the cook within your whole WiFi network. Remember to place your MEATER charging base directly next to your cooking method to ensure connection between the probes and base throughout your cook.

Do I need to charge the probes before I pair to the MEATER app?

Yes. Before pairing, the probes need to be charged for at least 8 hours with the dock switched off. This helps ensure a smooth pairing process and prevents issues like disconnections.

How do I power the Block on and off?

To turn your MEATER Block on or off, just press the power button on the built-in touchpad on the charger.

How can I check my battery levels?

When the MEATER Block is turned on, you'll see a battery indicator at the top of the probe screen on the built-in screen, and this tells you the level of the AA batteries. If it's low, you'll want to change the batteries.
